I feel for you Hosta...my wife had break-out (breakthrough?) meds - in std syringe form - for when the syringe driver meds didn't quite contain the pain. Maybe the box contains them?
I've seen a bit of dressage now, but they aren't showing much. They said on breakfast TV that it would be on at 11am, but they only showed Carl Hester, now I'm watching men's gymnastics. They said dressage would be on again at 12.30.
It rained quite a lot yesterday. A friend came round with a bucket of iris plants, she didn't know what they are but she'd been thinning them out. I think they are Sibirica. I hardly have a place left for them, they will have to go in a place that just has some sun in the morning. A lot of this garden is shady.

I know @Busy-Lizzie … the BBC have been put in a very tricky situation by the people who bought thr broadcasting rights. They’re only allowed to show two live events at a time so they’re having to juggle.

Hi folks, rain and thunder here but it's a steady rain not a dramatic downpour so hopefully it will do the garden good. I've just got back from the hospital after having an abdominal scan. The doctor says I have gall stones so that's probably what's cause of my pain. He will send the results to my GP. Hugs @Hostafan1 Congratulations DD
Ouch @Yviestevie, that doesn't sound nice. Hopefully, your GP will be able to suggest some remedies?
We've had more heavy showers on and off all day - most frustrating. I've had to resort to cleaning what little silver we have before putting it back in the cabinet. I used to haunt antique markets on Saturday markets, Bath used to have lots. I like small dainty silver pieces but no longer collect it, I don't suppose many people do these days.
@Busy-Lizzie there’s an hour of dressage highlights coming up at 6 o’clock on one of the Eurosport channels if you can get that … we get it free with our Virgin package.

Thank you, but we don't have Eurosport in our package. Never mind, I've done a couple of hours gardening. Planted the irises from my friend and the other 2 plants I bought in the market, cut down geraniums, dead headed roses, weeded.

More hugs for @Hostafan1, I hope hubby's pain can be kept under control and that you get enough help.
Well done @D0rdogne_Damsel,

No Olympic sports watching for me.
