    Morning all,

Just awaiting the 8am delivery, always late in July and August.  :(

Just wanted to say thank you for the kind supportive comments too. And good news too, Chateau de Gateaux came 1st in the Towns 'France in Bloom' competition in the restaurant category. Very proud mummy.

@Hostafan1 Thinking of you and hubby, what an ongoing ordeal you both seem to be struggling with, from all angles, very wrong that at this moment in your lives you have to be struggling with bureacracy. Big hugs.

    Morning everyone,  well done DD,.
We had several sprinkles of rain yesterday evening,  just had a few drops now,  but it dries as fast as it comes.  Perfect conditions for blight 😱

Morning all, thunder and heavy rain woke me at 5.30 this morning, couldn't really get back to sleep after that, cool and overcast today.
Lovely black cloud Pat hope it brings you some rain. Well done DD you deserve it.  :)

Morning all, we've had more heavy rain overnight, with thunderstorms predicted for later so we're trying to get a move on to get the paper before the next deluge. I don't like thunderstorms much.

The pub/restaurant we were in last night certainly seemed to have upped its game, despite having several staff out with either Covid and/or pinged. They seemed to have a temporary chef in as well who was chucking out the meals in record time. It's one of the most popular pubs in Bath with spectacular views across the valleys for miles.

Well done DD, you certainly had worked hard enough on the garden so well deserved.

Your pride is well justified @D0rdogne_Damsel . I hope your booking system can take the strain when everybody wants to come. I suspect there will be even more media interest too so it is going to get intense.

Hugs to you both @Hostafan1.  Can I assume that you have someone to call for medical support for him?

I've been given a little blue box with a  " Just in case " sticker on it.
Various syringes of Morphine etc .
It was given to me when I collected his things from the Don't Care Home.
I'm about to call GP surgery to A: let them know I have it here, and B: ask what / when it needs to be used, and by whom.
