It seems a bit odd that there's an aerial socket on the wall, yet it doesn't work.

Morning all. Cloudless day starting here. They’ve been promising rain for days, but nothing so far. 🙄 in other words, nothing new to report.

Hope people are getting their family issues settled soon.

Morning. Oo @Dovefromabove! What happened next?

    Wildlife drama here too…
fox spotted with fish in mouth in garden at 0530…
Further investigation…another dead koi carp floating on the pond…

The pond is not a classic koi pond - definitely a wildlife pond. We didn’t even know we had fish in it when we first moved in! They were 5 adult koi/grass carp and a juvenile. I wonder if the fox will be back now he knows there is a larder. The is a possibility that the fish just died overnight but the one I retrieved had a small wound. RIP little fish, I hope you had a lovely life 🐟

Good morning all again 😊 ☕️ I did get back to sleep again … eventually.
When I looked out of the window at 3:30am I saw one of Norwich’s equivalents of Boris Bikes parked on the pavement opposite … I wonder who cycled out of the city centre in the middle of the night and left it just there? I hope they’re going to return it to a proper bay and haven’t just abandoned it there.

Good morning Forkers.   We have had more heavy rain and some showers but it looks like it's all over for today and we should be mostly sunny and much cooler at 23C.  Good news for the picnic outing today.

Hope you get some rain soon @Pat E.  It's such a good refresher, even in winter.

Are you working today or visiting hubby @Hostafan1?  Hope it goes smoothly either way.

What's a muntjac doing round your way @Dovefromabove?  Hope all your plants are un-nibbled.

Hope it's a lovely day for everyone but hugs where needed and maybe a slice of Coronation chicken pie as there'll be more than we can eat at one sitting, tho we will be sharing.
