No more than a sheet to sleep under here, far too hot for a duvet.
Hope things resolve @steephill extra stress not needed I'm sure.

Glad you had a good time @chicky.   Unfortunately @tui34 UK weather is unpredictable and can be very disappointing and accommodation very expensive compared to popular Spanish resorts, for example, even with flights added.

We have had just duvet covers for a while now @Hostafan1 with windows open and shutters on ventilation mode.  Hope you're getting some sleep.

Scorchio here today with 37C forecast but it's SM raid day so that will be quite cool and then we'll just retreat to the shade along with the dogs, cats and chooks.

    Stay safe and cool everyone.

    Hello all.

I'm glad you enjoyed your holiday @chicky and that you had good weather. Makes such a difference.

I'm a bit late here today. Been doing hatework, have cleaned the dining room, including the windows. It's a sun room so there are lots of windows, cleaned the breakfast room and hung up 2 loads of washing.

Need to do some weeding, seen nettles in the shadiest bit.

Well, let's hope that is some protection and he only has it mildly.

Oh don't @Busy-Lizzie!  We need a good clean here too and the windows are now very dusty again after earlier rains and now the dry winds.

Have done the SM run - 3 of them for different things - with OH and we have paint which will now be stashed in the cave till we get a cooler spell.  LIDL for fresh salmon and Pinot Gris.  Super U for Belgian beers and an advertised offer of lamb shoulder at 9€90 but none in sight.  Leclerc for the rest.   All stashed away now and grilled fresh mackerel eaten as a treat for lunch.

Now to check on chooks and their water supplies and then hide in the shade till at least 5pm and later on I shall have to set the sprinkler on the bed I want to weed tomorrow as it's bone dry and rock hard again.

Fingers crossed he'll be fine @Hostafan1 ... we're both pretty sure we had it waaaaaaaaaay back ... we've had/still have some odd post-covid 'symptoms' but we're still here and functioning. ((hugs))

Another worry for you @Hostafan1.  I hop he's OK and daughter too.
