    Good morning all 😊 ☕️ 🐝
I was woken at 5 by a huge angry bumble bee who had come in and got entangled in the slatted window blinds … it didn’t seem to have woken OH so I got up and helped it find the open window. Then I went down and made a coffee … I had a wander around the garden in my negligee… the perfume from the Graham Thomas honeysuckle on the still early morning air was amazing … it really is a fantastic honeysuckle … it’s been hovered in flowers for months.

I found two pairs of canoodling orange slugs on the lawn … when we moved here we were told we had Red Slugs here Arion rufus … they don’t do a lot of damage to young crops and are useful at tidying up the place …  however I’ve since learned that these can hybridise with Spanish slugs … I must read up on the identifying features.

But first, more coffee is needed ☕️

It’s amazing how noisy green woodpeckers can be 😆

Morning folks, dishwasher done, tidying up done
No idea what I came in contact with while watering last night
Got a really bright red rash, midway between calf and ankle, both legs, left one both sides, doesn't itch, looks like a scald. I put the usual bite etc antihistamines cream on,it stung, washed it off.what the devil. Looked up on the GW site, don't have any of the plants listed, apart from chrysanthemums, but they are over the bed, didn't come in contact with them. Only thing that height, tomatoes and Nigela, which has Finnished flowering

Dove, you shouldn't be giving me ideas. My youngest daughter has a NASA telescope. Nah,after 40 years nursing, seen enough, haha. Happy that Hosta had kept his sense of humour at this horrible time

@Nanny Beach, I wasn't joking. Sun block on nose and lips, the rest have to fend for themselves.
