Really hot again today.  Popped to the chemist to pick up my prescription did some tidying of the raised veg bed.  Hubby has to go for a ECG scan this afternoon as part of the follow up from his stroke, must say every part of the NHS has been on the ball.
Gabriel is back in Hospital with breathing problems, I think the heat hasn't helped.  Stay safe and as cool as possible folks.

We're melting here, it hit 34.5 earlier. The Met Office has published an Extreme Hot Weather alert for the Southwest as far as the IOW.
Hope Gabriel is ok @Yviestevie, I felt quite peculiar earlier so had a lie down in the cool. Not helped by IT problems and forgetting passwords!
Probably due to the fact that I'm cooking roast lamb, fool that I am. No room in the freezer and it's got to be cooked today!

Hope you got the 'drama' sorted to your satisfaction in the end @Hostafan1?

31C in the shade here at 8:30 and with a light breeze.  Very pleasant @Hostafan1.

I've had a lovely afternoon with 8 other ladies for a patchwork and natter session.   The room has high ceilings and a tiled floor so stayed cool.   Got a message from Possum to buy some parsnips on the way home as she needed them for a veggie tagine she's cooking for vegetarian Monday.   Have had a chat about seasonality.

OH has been out there "doing a Bruno" and gardening in just a brief pair of swimming trunks.  I will not be joining him in my cozzie tomorrow!

I hope the evening brings some relief to all who're feeling too hot or having other difficulties.

Night @Dovefromabove, I am all alone in the house and it feels very odd, particularly after all the lockdowns and isolating.

Well, enjoy the freedom to do what you want when you want @Punkdoc. Play loud music, stay up all night or sleep all day - the choice is yours!
