    Morning all.

    It’s set for 30 here today 😎

Last night as I ventured out for a cuppa before bed, to enjoy the cooler air, and the bats were out in force. I’m not the best with little flying things around me and it was a no-go for me. I’ve never seen so many.

Have a pleasant day all. I’ll call you all for ice cream again later.

Not a cloud in the sky and the hospital windows barely open wide enough to let a breeze through.
Our Conservatory was at 46C at 8pm last night. Laundry dried a treat.

    Morning all,
Had a lovely time in Bournemouth with all the family. Son had booked dinner in a hotel at Canford Cliffs and we got to sit outside in a thatched roundel (?) all to ourselves. Very pleasant, they also had beach huts seating six outside. Boy, was it hot driving back yesterday afternoon, I was cream crackered when we got home, despite the air conditioning. Going out for lunch today in a friends garden, about 8 of us, all members of our local Austin 10 car club. I think it's going to be even hotter though, it's over 27c already so I'm not sure I'm really looking forward to it. Can't take the heat like I used to. I expect @Hostafan1 is loving it though, fling open the hosital windows when the nurses aren't looking or tell them ventilation is a must to help prevent covid!

We love the IOW @Chicky, usually go over with the car club once a year but it's been cancelled twice now.

Right, must go and get ready, I'll catch up later.

Tui, sorry to take a while to answer. Watching Dan Snow talking about the east India Co when it got going in India.  These history stories have the ability to make me very mad at attitudes in those historic times, but hey, you can’t change history. Sorry about the underlining. Accidental.

By the way, in answer to your question, we’re about half way between Melbourne and Sydney. Just an hours drive south of Canberra in the Snowy Mountains region of NSW.

Windows have to be fixed for safety and security @Hostafan1 ... don't want the folks inside getting out or any ne'er do wells outside getting in ... just think of the value of all that 'stuff' on the street  :/

Sitting out on the patio finishing my morning coffee. Lovely in the shade, with a slight breeze, but the sun is creeping towards me so I’ll have to move inside soon. British Grand Prix this afternoon, so hubby will be occupied for a few hours. I ought to do something constructive but I might just read a book.

Windows that only open 2 inches in hospitals is a nightmare. Unfortunately it’s very necessary as people can’t be trusted not to fling themselves out.Not having circulating air in hospitals is pretty unpleasant and few places have air-con 🤢
