This year they have all shown amazing progress and Dan has been remarkably consistent in his upward curve, unlike some of the others having the odd blip at the bottom and occasionally being top of the leader board. Dan is also improving in performance and letting go, unlike Tom this week.
Tilly did move well but for me it was just an awful dance to awful music. I enjoyed all the other performances and am pleased AJ is back on form. Rose, as ever, was lyrical in her movements and a joy to watch.
I thought the show dance was too obviously "show" in style and not enough Fosse. Disappointing.

I think Tilly and Dan will be in the dance off. Thought Motsi's 'hair' was rather weird and wild this week
I agree about the hair, although compared to a trio singing on the Country Music Association awards, shown on BBC2 on Friday night, her hair looks like a buzz cut! No idea who they were but their hairdos were massive.
I presume Motsi had to go through any doorways sideways
I was very interested in the judge's comments to Tom about letting go, especially from Cynthia. I was intrigued to see how two people could dance to a song called "On my own". Amy as Eponine was presumably imagining Marius alongside her, but it just didn't work for me.
As for Tilly, fair play to her and Nikita doing their best with what they were given, but l'm not at all convinced that it warranted a perfect score.
Loved Dan's obvious enjoyment of the Charleston, and Giovanni's impression of the soldier from a tin of Quality Street.
Once again I'd completely forgotten Tom,he flies under the radar unless you're a McFly fan. He could be in trouble this week, and possibly Dan,although I thought he was good considering his "Journey" from a complete non dancer. I didnt like the V Waltz though. I think I was a bit underwhelmed this time. But Rose to win 😊
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.
The new judge did a great job, Tom got a bit of a hammering because he didn't cry for some reason, I enjoyed Tilly's dance she showed 100% commitment and confidence something that the judges are always asking for and as Rose says the score doesn't matter as much as the fact that you enjoy the dance yourself, AJ back on form this week too. We voted for AJ, Rose and Tilly.
It wasn't actually because he didn't cry. The judges commented on the lack of emotion he shows during the dance. The "didn't cry" observation was based on his own comment that he had to hold back from crying at the end of the dance.
Rhys was a lot less tweeny-toed in the dance-off and there was a lot of content in the choreography. Tom's dance was as predictable as before with no added performance value. Just as much to do with choreography as performance.
