I thought Rose did very well, l liked her rainbow coloured dress. I thought Shirley was rather mean awarding her just 4, l have seen celebrities who can hear the music do a far worse jive than that. I also thought her little dig at Claudia about the "fundamentals" was a little uncalled for. Very happy with Anton as a judge, although l think his awarding of high marks for Greg's use of top hat and cane was a bit "Brunoesque".
I thought Claudia deserved that AnniD for pretending she's thick. We know she's not.
I loved Johannes tango choreography and I thought it and the performance were outstanding. Giovanni is being clever again and did very well with Rose and yes, poorly marked I thought but some of the later marking was definitely unbalanced compared to the earlier scores. Agree about Greg Wise needing to sharpen up.
Cracking start tho and looks like it'll be a good competition this year.

No wonder Tom has been on tour with his band and Amy has been with him so that they could continue training, I hope that Amy is ok considering her health problem.

I don't know why you assume Tom and the band are the source. The band are continuing to perform but without him, which suggests nobody else in the band or their backroom staff has it. Far more likely from working in enclosed environments for hours on end.
You made me smile well done, my point is that if someone is travelling around the country on an arena tour that they may be more likely to pick a virus up than someone who is staying in one place that's all but your indignation is hilarious thanks.
As the parent of someone who works in the music industry and is involved in running such tours, I’m aware that they’re run pretty much as a sealed unit ‘traveling bubble’ this year …. with daily testing of all artists and crew.
Something would have to be very much amiss to pass on Covid with the tight restrictions they have in place.
Remember that most of the crew have not earned anything since Feb ‘20 and have not been eligible for any government funding … depending on family and friends to survive.
I promise you they’re not going to take risks or get the reputation for not being Covid Aware and then miss out on work. 😊

No indignation. Just questioning the obvious assumption made about the source of the infection.
I wonder if this means there will be no elimination this week? Fingers crossed no one else catches it.
Illness, withdrawals and injury in past series haven't stopped eliminations but maybe the producers will have learnt something over the years (don't hold your breath). Interesting though that, unlike last year, those with Covid aren't being forced to drop out of the series.
