    Ante, if you get chance to look in, I am watching two of your compatriots Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic playing in the Men's Doubles final. They are doing pretty OK so far but need to keep sharp. I am signing out for tonight as will continue watching this match until the end - whenever that may be.

    it’s foggy here but that’s not stopped the song thrush who’s been singing away since early this morning. 
    @Chivetalking the piece I’m making is a very fine lacey draped top with a lace-weight yarn of silk and merino … its years since I’ve done knitting this fine, the yarn is a deep ultramarine on dark needles and I’m well overdue for new glasses!  😜
    @Busy-Lizzie what about the old poachers’ truck of soaking some grain in brandy for a couple of days then putting it out for the cockerel … it’s supposed to work with pheasants … you can just go out and pick them up off the ground or the branches they’re perching on, as they  sleep it off, apparently.
