Fingers crossed for your friend's visit to Cromer. Brother is in Wells-next-the-Sea and different areas along that coast seem to have their own little micro-climate don't they?

Thanks for whispering Hazel. I'll feel fine once I've downed this 2nd bucket of tea🙂
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
  • Lily really pleased for you poppets test being negative.  Ante congratulations to your guys result.  LB I’m all set for the Wimbledon men’s final and the football both should be interesting matches.  Topbird we will all whisper for you today, plenty of tea.  Enjoy the match.  Hazel it’s been also temperamental here weather wise.  Dove your fine knit top sounds lovely.  Debs I’m sure you staying longer was appreciated.  Chive enjoy your Sunday.  Luckily I’ve already done Lily’s tv this week so free to watch the men’s final.

Afternoon all, I'm watching the tennis and will watch the football later.  This morning got lots done in the garden.  Lawns mowed and edged, pots moved, deadheading and weeding.  Lots of bees in and out of the bug hotel and lots and lots of tiny frogs hopping around the borders.
@Topbird Glad you had a good time at the wedding
@star gaze lily glad Poppet has the all clear.
@Dovefromabove I've got a cardigan that I need to finish for Jonah I have to pick up all the stitches and knit borders and shawl collar in one and it's a job I really dislike, if I don't hurry it will be too small for him.

Glad you enjoyed the wedding @Topbird

We've been to the Bishop's Garden in Norwich, open for the NGS. We had lunch there, sausage rolls, quiche and cake. Think I'd better eat an apple, always a lack of fruit and veg on these occasions. Lovely garden, I've posted photos. https://forum.gardenersworld.com/discussion/1052590/garden-visits-2021
Then we went for a walk to the river and finished up in an old pub. I walked, OH had his mobility scooter.

  • LB a gripping men’s final.  Well done to Djokovic and I hope Berretini will be back next year and may be one of our guys and girls for the final in future.  The Duke of Kent retires from his role this year and was awarded a replica of the trophy.  Busy lovely pictures.  Chive and Yvie good to hear your bug hotels are busy with bees.

Good evening everyone. Well I really enjoyed that men's final match - hope you did too Yvie and all who watched it too. I was rooting for Matteo but I do think that his time will come. Only paid a flying visit to rellies today as one of my brothers is in self isolation as he is having a minor op on Tuesday so no visiting there. What a lovely misty memory Ruby. It has been tipping down on and off here all day but that hasn't really mattered what with visits and tennis. T'Bird, sounds like the wedding was just perfect. Well done Debs - going above and beyond your day at the pharmacy. You are one of the many unsung heroes of this time. Pity not all your customers are so grateful. Good to see you Hazel, and don't worry that you missed the tale of Jack. You have your own concerns to worry about. They came back and rectified all the mess that they had made and bought him a new rug for inside his front door. I think he was so embarrassed by the whole thing that he didn't really want to talk about it but he was amused by the Council asking me to join the National Scam Marshalls scheme.
Busy, I'm off to take a squiz at your pictures now.
