Good morning everyone .Good grief Busy you did do a lot yesterday. Sorry about your sandals . Good job it didn’t break while you were on your way though . BL you were up late you must be shattered .You seem to have a string of jobs piling up .Don’t forget to have a rest this heat is draining.Enjoy the sun everyone .
Good Morning Everyone, a bright sunny start. Trimmed back some large shrubs yesterday a Photinia Red Robin & Choisya Sundance, quite a full green bin by the end.
Biglad awake in the small hours, hope you got to sleep,
Hope Hazel is ok haven’t seen her recently and Topbird, I will be going to see mum this morning, hope you all have a good day.
Good morning all. Clear blue skies and sunshine but I am at work all day. Hoping things are easier but only in today and tomorrow so I am sure I will cope.
Fiancé is doing prep for 2 weddings so he is a busy bunny.
A belated good morning Biglad, Ruby, Chive, Debs and everyone arriving later. I seemed to sleep in 3 hourly bursts last night. Raring to go now and will be looking forward to the plumber arriving later.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Busy, take things easier today. Chive, enjoy catching up with your Mum and Debs, I hope that you don't get too much hassle at work. Not to worry, it must be so nice knowing that your Fiancé will be at home far more often now.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Off out for my 3-monthly contact mingle with the outside world - blood donation. Doing a click and collect and the postponed bench-painting for MIL on the way. Three birds with one stone and all that
Hazel I hope the heat rash clears up quickly bless you. It will be good for you to see mum next week. Yes you don’t realise how much you need. An itinerary is a good idea. Chive enjoy your catch up with mum. It will be good to see her. I had my catch up with mum and dad this morning. It was good to see them. LB I hope you’ll soon be sorted out regarding your taps. The mint seems to be shooting back up. Debs , as LB says, it’s good your fiancé will be home. Wishing you a good day. Biglad enjoy your day, take it steady. Busy I hope you can repair your sandals.
Afternoon everyone. I am pleased to say that I now have a new tap that directs the water down the hose instead of all over me. It didn't take long for the plumber at all. Sorry to hear about the rash Hazel, when we lived abroad with Dad's postings we used to use Calamine lotion to help cool the itch of heat rashes. It was lovely stuff - apart from the fact that it made we children look as if we had been badly whitewashed.
Stay calm Hazel and I hope that your visit to your Mum's is a very positive thing. Will be thinking about you.
Biglad, have you been to see the vampires again?
It is feeling decidedly thundery here. Question is do I water now or wait and see if the forecasters are correct?
p.s. While I am deciding that I may as well have a brew.

Hi folks, Another scorcher here. That cartoon made me laugh @deb64 I'm desperate to buy more roses but simply have nowhere to plant them. @Busy- you need to be careful talking about housework on this thread Ladybird will be giving colonel TT an outing. It's a taboo subject. Work in the garden is OK though. Hope the trip goes OK tomorrow. I've been out in the garden deadheading, everything is looking so lush (except the lawn which could do with a bit of rain). Speech therapist came today and gave Hubby some homework to do. He's now lying in the sun (for a change). Hazel sorry to here about the prickly heat rash. I get it when I go abroad and find that taking an antihistamine tablet in the morning sorts it out. Hope it feels better soon. Enjoy the rest of the day folks.
