Evening All, Unfortunately OH didn’t pass the pre plasma test so they wouldn’t proceed with the donation,
SGL Pleased to hear that OH has improved and you have a visit from the poppets today, a nice end to the week,
Biglad Sounds like the team is taking shape, I don’t suppose we could have tea & biscuits for halftime could we? 😉
Busy I didn’t like Hockey those sticks were lethal on your shins, horse riding was my passion too never owned one though. I’m sure you’ll get your Norfolk garden looking lovely once the weather improves,
Yvie Hope Jonah gets on ok with his glasses, they do some fantastic frames for children from what I’ve seen them wearing at school. Hope you’re enjoying a relaxing afternoon,
@Songbird-1 Hazel Glad you found the vanity case, isn’t that annoying when you can’t locate what you want! Your watering system sounds fine, it should give them a fighting chance of survival while you are away. I’m not sure about the Plasma donation he was one of many invited to do it as he gives blood,

I have my first Sweet Peas flowers 😊

Afternoon all. I have had a pottering day today. Started with a trip to 'sco when, would you believe it, but a little fuchsia leapt into my trolley? It will go with the two I already have and make a display in a big pot. I also couldn't resist a micro hose (10m long) which is as light as a feather and will make watering and car sprucing much easier than my big bulky one. Finally two small solar powered light bulbs to hang in the garden caught my eye. Can't wait for a dark night to see those lit.
SGL, I was sorry to read that the heat was sapping your OH's energy and hope that the cooler nights may be refreshing. I'll bet you have had a super day today with the poppets.
Biglad, you are appointed goalie then. At 5 foot only, I can dodge and weave all over the show. Will we be using the 4-3-3 formation?
Busy, at least your OH has made the effort to do some 'weeding' and with his dickey joint it won't have been all that easy so credit where credit's due.
Yvie, tell Jonah it will be really cool to look like a pirate for a short while.
Hazel, good that you found your vanity case and that you have the watering system sorted. How long are you going to be away?
Chive, how lovely to see your first sweet pea. Bestie had some of those dwarf ones growing at hers and the scent was knockout!

    Evening all,

Not much getting done today as there are 3 games on ;) Altered the netting cage over my veg bed so that it has a flap rather than a fixed front that I can't open. I hope I don't need to go in there too much but good to be able to have a peak without having to lift the whole fragile cage right off.

I've also composted another batch of the smallest tomato plants and potted on a cistus cutting. Plus a bit of pruning, weeding and watering.

Actually, I have inadvertently done a bit :o

I've now expanded your role of physio to incorporate team nutritionist @Chivetalking. I think our team will be very entertaining. No fixed formation @Ladybird4 - we're playing total football. Well total something anyway :D:D:D

    Evening,
Thanks Rubee, glad you’ve had a good day in the garden,
Biglad I’m happy to embrace that role 😉
LB Some nice treats to bring home in the shopping, a lightweight hose is a great buy such unruly things to handle. Those sweet peas do have a wonderful  scent, hoping to see some more flowers soon,
    Have a nice evening everyone.
