Afternoon All, I Like your thinking LB, Dove & Busy 😀
LB Sorry to hear of your NDN’s horse riding injury that was nasty, hopefully they can set the wrist for her without surgery. I hope you’re out in your garden getting your planting done, it’s turned to drizzle here and I must get the bins ready for tomorrow’s collection,
Busy Fingers crossed for your OH and his pre assessment today, hope all goes well,
    Have a nice afternoon everyone.

Hi folks,  It's been quite cloudy here but good weather for gardening (not too hot).  I've been potting on Lupins, digging out a Thalictrum that was going for world domination and also removing lots of Honesty.  Deadheaded everything, except for an arch of Mortimer Sackler which I will tackle tomorrow.  Fed the pots and veg plot, think that's about it.  It's green bin day tomorrow so I should be able to fill it up again with all the stuff that I've dug out.  Trying to get everything in order before I go on hols on Saturday.
A nice G&T would go down a treat at the moment. Have a good day everyone.

Whaaaat @Biglad? I didn't even know that Bertie had got married. Good grief!
I solved the problem of which to tackle first, head or feet. He fit in my mouth whole!
Yvie, did I miss you mentioning about holidays? So sorry if I did. Its my green bin day on Thursday so I am gradually getting it filled with 'stuff'.

    I didn't get an invite either, @Ladybird4 :o

Just done a couple of hours outside. Actually chilly enough for me to don long sleeves! I've sowed some more marigolds. I need some more if they're going to be the no.1 target for every Cyril in the neighbourhood. Also, half a dozen peas. One of my first batch is decidedly unwell and there's also room to squeeze a couple more in the pea patch ;)

Our garden waste bin collection is this Wednesday. Tomorrow I might mow a bit more of the 'wild' back lawn on the strength of it. It's left than half full (and that is mostly Cyrils!!!).

Good evening folks . It’s been a very cold and overcast day . I love black JBs like LB the whole one  goes straight in my mouth . Do you remember the rice paper flying saucers with sherbet inside ? .
I have been repairing one of my trellises that someone accidentally cut through ,a bit fiddly but I got there in the end .I need to get up early tomorrow lots of cutting back to do in the garden .Time for a cuppa .

I remember those flying saucers Ruby. I wonder who the culprit was who chopped through your trellis 🤔. Glad you get it sorted though. Thats just reminded me, the little trellises on my shed have perished with old age and I need to get the bits picked up and stashed away in the bin. Tomorrow's list is growing by the minute.

    Evening everyone,
LB I’m sorry I completely missed your little Berties earlier, it must have been a while since I’ve had a box as I’d not seen those either,
Yvie You’ve had a good day in the garden, nice to get everything done before you go away,
Rubee I used to like flying saucers, shame about your trellis someone cut through that was unlucky,
@Songbird-1 Hope the journey goes well to your mums tomorrow Hazel,
Singing off for the evening, Goodnight everyone.

Hello Chive. I must admit I was stumped when I found them. They are very nice though.
I would like to wish Hazel a safe journey tomorrow too. I'll be thinking about you and your Mum. I'm signing out too. Its gone a bit chilly now but it is still amazingly light outside. My new solar light bulbs haven't even lit up yet. I actually think its the lightest its been all day. Anyhow, I shall see all you lovely people tomorrow so have nice evenings.

OH had blood tests etc, his BP was up but he took in a chart of his normal BP for the last 2 weeks and the nurse said it's quite common. He has to have a Covid test on the 29th then self isolate, me too, until his op on the 2nd. The 29th was to have been my first day of freedom from quarantine  :'(
