Like Biglad, I was fond of Thomas Hardy novels but wouldn't call them my favourite reads. I may be some time

Busy, take it easy tomorrow then. You don't want to be laid up yourself when your OH will need looking after. One of my friends has had both her hips replaced. She made us giggle showing us the special toilet seat she had to use - now that really did look like a throne. She said having her hips replaced was the best thing she had ever done at this time in her life and only wished she had had the first one done earlier for the relief its given her.

Evening all,  Had a lovely day in the garden yesterday but today I've been pampering myself ready for my hols.  Fingers and Toes painted, eye lashes/brows shaped and tinted and my locks cut.  It's been ages since I was so well turned out.
Hubby has got the go ahead to drive so he's taken a couple of short trips and says he feels fine.
Glad you've managed to get some tidying in the garden done BL
Hugs for Hazel anyone else who needs one.
Ooh rose shopping,  I envy you Ruby, I'm trying to fine space to squeeze more in.

Ooh get you Yvie. How lovely for you getting ready for your holiday. I really could do with having my eyebrows threaded again soon before I look like I've got a line of processionary caterpillars walking across my forehead. Great news that your OH has been passed fit to drive. Are you setting out on Monday?
Careful Ruby, you'll have Yvie hankering after another visit to DA!

Yvie I always love browsing Rose websites . Love Cornwall ,my last stay was in Tintagel.(spelling)
Nobody is touching my eyebrows,I have hardly any left .I am one of those women who hate having hair ,nails or brows tampered with . Instead of relaxing me it irritates me .Do them myself when necessary.
  • Yvie not long to go before youre away.  Your oh is amazing and doing very well.  It’s great that he can drive.  Enjoy your hols.  Busy I home oh can find it comfortable on his back and can have pillows but it will be worth it. I, too, would rather do my own grooming but, I’m glad youre feeling good Yvie.  LB I’ve had my brows threaded in the past, although when done looks very neat I had red brows for a while.  I’m signing out now wishing all a good evening.  Goodnight

Yvie, that will be so nice for you both. Time to recharge the batteries and time to spoil each other.
