Good Morning LB, Rubee & SGL and all to follow, overcast and damp start today,
LB Pleased to hear that bestie is enjoying the holiday, sorry you’ve got another wet day. I’m not keen to travel anywhere yet, but OH would go tomorrow if he could,
Rubee Sorry to hear OH’s BP was high hope the tablets help him, hope all goes well with the ECG,
SGL Pleased that poppet 1 enjoys school the things I see them doing in class looks so interesting, Rainbows sounds good fun too.
Good news Young chive has an invitation to have the 1st jab.
Would normally be heading to mums today, but OH has the car so I have a choice of indoor pursuits hot thing or sucky thing 🤔 maybe another cuppa ☕️

Good morning all. Overcast here but dry so want to do a bit of gardening, weeding and dead heading mainly.
Yesterday was mom’s birthday which was difficult especially as I spent a lot of the day at work trying to help a lady who appeared to have similar mental health issues and it brought back upsetting memories. Lovely fiancé bought me flowers and cooked me a delicious tea, he almost never buys me flowers so I was really touched.
I remember how lovely you all were and so supportive at that awful time in my life so thank you.
Hope you all have a lovely day planned.

Good morning Chive. Another cuppa is always the right thing to do! I wouldn't be bothered travelling anywhere right now - can't be bothered with all the faff. Good news about Young Chive too. Sorry that you cannot get to see Mum today but I'm sure you'll have a natter.

Good morning Debs, you snuckered in there. I'm sure that there were lots of bitter sweet memories yesterday and such a sweet gesture from your Fiancé. It must have given you a warm glow.
BTW, I've got my bottle read for my cordial - just need the root ginger which I will get tomorrow - forgot it the last time I went to 'sco but its on the list now. There is no way I am going anywhere today unless a miracle occurs.

@debs64 enjoy your garden today, it's hard when birthdays and special times come around. You will have lots of lovely memories too. Take care Debs, sending a big hug.

Good Morning Debs, those memories of your mum are all still so raw, that was a really kind thought from your fiancé. Hope you have a nice time gardening today.
LB Thank you yes mum and I will still have a chat 😊
SGL it’s raining here now, another cuppa sounds good 👍
  • LB essential to have your heating on for your shower when it’s cool.  I hope you have a better sleep tonight.  The nemo sounds good for Sofia.   Chive good to hear young chive is having the jab.  It’s cooler here and looks like rain again.  Rubee I hope oh tablets work well in bringing down bp. Lily I’ll join you for a cuppa.  Im not in a rush to go anywhere either.  Debs lovely to receive flowers from your fiancé.  I hope you have a better day.

    Afternoon all,

Marti paid a visit overnight but is reluctant to continue the good work despite the forecast. Better than nothing but more required.

    Hello all.

I'm having a quiet day. It's been raining and my back aches, but I have managed to vacuum clean the house. Then I watched the last episode of "Finding Alice" and had a chat on the phone with Son 2, who has a day off and has been mowing his lawn.

Haven't had lunch yet. OH went to Morrisons and came back with a bag of Morrisons home made chocolate cookies for elevenses, yummy. Maybe he likes plump women, he also bought Eccles cakes for tea. Yesterday he bought cream doughnuts, I haven't a hope.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good afternoon all. @Biglad I keep telling the rain to migrate your way so I can have a dry spell. Perhaps need the rain dancers to wear their whites in the next match.
@Busy-Lizzie, I am not surprised your back is aching. You should look after yourself and take things a little bit more easy. As for all the sweet goodies, I think that you should just give in gracefully and let your OH spoil you.
