Greetings from Cornwall. It took us 8.5 hours to get here as the M5 was closed due to a fatal accident. We came mainly via A roads unfortunately so did everyone else. We have had rain of biblical proportions since we arrived but this evening it has stopped. The south coast is due to stay relatively dry tomorrow so hopefully we will enjoy our visit to Trebah Gardens.

So sorry Yvie - I should have refreshed my page as you weren't there as I posted my good night pic. What a dreadful journey you had but you are there now so enjoy every minute. I'm putting Trebah Gardens on my bucket list.

Oh dear @Songbird-1 , things didn't go quite according to plan. I'm sorry your Mum is so frail. What a mess to come home to but well done for getting it sorted so quickly.

I hope you enjoy Trebah as much as we did @Yviestevie. It will help you to forget the awful journey, hope the weather is fine.

I tidied up (cut a load off) the Malvern Hills Rose and deadheaded Iceberg today.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good to see you @Songbird-1 so sorry to hear about your  mum not eating much. Hope everything else went well while you were there. Sorry too that the journey back was a difficult one and then the damage to your plants. We've had an awful lot of heavy rain here and it was so terribly windy for a couple of days. You must be exhausted after tidying the garden after a long journey. Hope you get a good night's sleep Hazel and a lie in in the morning.
I've got a rose in a large pot @Rubee it grows very well.
Good news about your test @Busy-Lizzie Have your V pillows arrived?
Did you enjoy the footie @Biglad
Sorry you had such an awful journey @Yviestevie hope the weather improves, enjoy your holiday.
It's still absolutely pouring down, do hope the warm dry weather returns soon.
Night night everyone, sleep well and sweet dreams
