I think that you'll both slot into the engine room nicely, @Rubee @Songbird-1 ;)

On another tack, my mowed paths seem to be covered in Cyrils making their way around on their dastardly nocturnal jaunts. I've just been out to repatriate them to the brown bin. I lost count but it was getting on for 50. The half-chewed marigolds are still doing a great job at providing a diversion. There are still some munchers gorging on them :)

    A very good morning everyone.
Biglad, you made things easy for the Cyrils - mowing a path I have to say I am impressed by the numbers of said pests you get in your garden. You obviously provide the finest deli and restaurant in your area and word has got around!

I wonder who the tallest Rezzer is? We need a good goalie.

Good Morning LB & all to follow,
LB Pleased to hear that the conservatory cleaning chaps turned up at Jacks and have hopefully resolved the situation. Are you gardening today?
Maybe I could treat any of our team injuries with an application of water & blue paper towel, fixes most of the knees & elbow scrapes at school 🙂
Hope SGL & OH are ok,
Hazel Hope you have everything needed for your trip to mums next week, was you able to resolve the tomato watering?
Glad you arrived safely @Busy-Lizzie rotten journey, but good to see OH. Hope the isolation period is soon over.
My OH is donating Plasma today so I’ll take him and a book to read while he goes in.
Hope you all have a good day.

OH is feeling better this morning, the heat really affected him this week.
Hope everyone is well, will read back properly later. We have the poppets and their mummy and daddy coming today. Fathers day visit.
Have a good day everyone, see you later

    Morning all,

@bluebellsinthewild I think you will make a good defensive partner for @Ladybird4. Our two physios are going to be busy considering the team is all 27 or thereabouts @star gaze lily @Chivetalking

I'm guessing that it would have to be me in goal then @Ladybird4 :D

Here's my Crimewatch photo for today. One of the locals strolling off after making the latest of regular deposits in my back garden :( I'll spare you the photo of what was left behind! Also, an earlier mugshot for the wanted poster!

Can't wait for the fence panels to arrive so I can fill the back border up with good stuff, hide the gravel boards and plant all the beauties that I've got waiting in pots. Hopefully, that will close down that particular toilet area (as well as making it look better than the current mess).

    Hello all.

@Biglad, your local villain is very cute.  I'd be no good as your goalie, 5ft 3. I'm not good at team sports either, I was nervous about being knocked over. I used to be good at long jump (school), tennis and swimming (breast stroke). But my main love was horse riding.

Our Norfolk garden is looking very battered by the rain, the roses are sagging, especially the Malvern Hills on the arch. OH said he'd done some weeding, but I don't think he actually knows which ones are the weeds!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hi folks,  Well I'm 5' 9" but not very sporty.  I used to play GA too Hazel.  Never played hockey, didn't like the idea of getting bashed with one of those sticks.  I agree @Ladybird4 the match was simply boring. England looked they all needed a good nights sleep.

Secondborn had to attend a virtual Teacher Recruitment Day via Zoom so we went across to keep the boys amused.  Just found out that Jonah needs glasses and probably an eye patch, all he needs is his two front teeth to drop out now and he'll look just like his mum did.

No plans to garden today, feeling really tired so I'm going to relax for the rest of the day.
