Chive, I was terrified of hockey sticks since I had a hockey stick shaped bruise on my thigh. It was very "ouch".

OH had bought fillet steak for dinner tonight. It's so expensive I only ever have it for special treats. Sorry to the vegetarians among you. It was sweet of him, asparagus, new potatoes and red wine too.

Busy That injury sounds painful, but your dinner sounds absolutely delicious 😋
Goodnight everyone, hope you all sleep well.

Thank you everyone, OH is feeling much better today. I've a feeling he got a bit dehydrated too. Even though I was trying to keep him topped up with fluids.
    Great pic @Ladybird4 😂😂
We had a lovely day with the poppets. They really give you a boost. Lots of fun, giggles and cuddles.
It's been very overcast today and it's really chilly tonight. Temperature has definitely dropped.
My sweet peas are growing well but no flowers yet @Chivetalking.  Thats a pretty colour.
I'm 5ft 4in  @Biglad    hated hockey,  agree with @Busy-Lizzie those sticks were lethal. Quite happy to look after you all with Chive
Night night everyone sleep well and sweet dreams

    Good morning to all.
Last week schedule was packed but I'll have much more time now. School is finally finished, at least for children.
It will be one more hot day, over 34℃. We are in the middle of the first heat wave this year.
First tea and then a lot of posts to read and few missed GW to watch. It will be Sunday for resting.

    Have a nice day!

Good morning Ante and everyone joining us later (probably at training camp). Lovely to see you Ante and thank you for sharing your lily pictures - gorgeous. You will get some more 'me time' soon which will be great but that temperature! I would just melt. Biglad - France! More jam than Hartley's.
My solar light bulbs in the gloom yesterday evening. Had some (wonderful!) rain in the night.

p.s. just spotted that the bird feeder on the tree beyond needs filling - might have to wait until I get back from visiting the rellies.

    Morning all,

A poor attempt at rainfall so far - not nearly enough. The rest of the morning is forecast to be wet, though. Hopefully, no need for watering for the next few days.

Another track session this morning :o

    Good morning LB and Biglad.

LB, lovely solar lamps and hanging baskets. If you could please send me some rain. We desperately need one good shower. You will probably visit your rellies so have a nice time.

Good morning folks … mind if I pop in?  Plenty of rain here … more than enough to spare … bring your buckets and form an orderly queue …
