    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
I woke to the sound of ‘our’ little flock of widgeon calling as they flew over ... I’ve been hearing them fly out in the morning and back in the evening at this time of year for a few years now ... I presume they breed on the marshes here ... but where do they go to and come back from with such regularity ... they fly out in a north-easterly direction ... perhaps they’re heading to the lake and marshes further along the River Yare at Whitlingham ...?

I must be up early - went out to collect the milk and it hasn't been delivered yet :o

Chucked a few Cyrils onto the shed roof. Hopefully, that will be breakfast for our resident blackbird or robin and not some johnny come lately!

I feel like getting started in the garden but the jobs I really want to be cracking on with include quite a bit of sawing, drilling and general banging about. I'd better hang fire for a while ;) Or maybe I could quietly deposit a dozen tomato plants in the compost bin...........

Morning Dove. The birds sound fascinating.

Hubby spied a little fox moving past our garage this morning. I had leftover meat that he didn’t like so I chopped it up and put it out in bowls a couple of nights ago. It was gone in the morning, and I’d wondered what had got it. Now I think I know. Rather that than have new lambs get taken. 🙄

You won’t be the first if you start doing noisy stuff now @Biglad ... someone nearby was doing something noisy with a bin about 5 mins ago ... mind you it’s our garden waste bin day today so perhaps they were dragging it down the path in the noisiest most inept way possible ... 🙄

Oh ... apparently they’re the same as they were introduced from here ... and now they’re causing havoc with your native wildlife  ... oh echium ... mankind causes such problems 🙄

I often get ticked off when the NDN insists on starting one of his cars up at around 8am, d-fab. He does it a few times a week and then just sits in the car on the drive revving it up occasionally for 20-30mins. When you're trying to have a lie-in at the weekend is particularly joyful :(

I'd feel a bit of a hypocrite if I returned the favour ;)

Our NDN is one of those who would start up the car and leave the engine running for a while in frosty weather to de-ice the windscreen. Their last car was diesel and their driveway is near our bedroom window and we’d leap up to shut it.  But they’ve changed their car and they didn’t leave it running in the morning this winter ...
Theyre pretty good neighbours really tho ... they keep their cats in most of the time ...
