    Morning all.
Yes thanks, @star gaze lily, I did sleep well. No side effects so far, just a sore arm.

Son has rung to say they will arrive around midday. Shame forecast is rain all weekend.

Lovely choisya @Ladybird4, in advance of mine and I'm much further south, but mine is only a baby, in my new shrub bed.

LB enjoy your time at the garden centre.  I wonder what goodies you will get.  I hope you catch up with sleep tonight.  The choisya is lovely.  Lily a throw is a good idea.  Alfies presently snoozing but he’s lovely.  Glad no bad effects.  Chive I’m glad your brother is okay after Pfizer jab.  Apparently two jabs of Pfizer and your 97% protected, according to fergus walsh on the beeb.

Been in the garden repotting some pot bound geraniums . Ordered some more horticultural grit . The ground needs it .All I need now are a few more bedding plants for my pots and then I can rest .
A huge spider has just run over my knee .I am sitting reading . I don’t have to get up . Rufus was on it straight away .

    Afternoon everyone,
LB I hope there were lots to tempt you at the GC this morning, perfect pursuit for a grey day. Mum & I did have a good gossip thank you 😊
RosieBB That is good to know about the levels of protection, sounds encouraging 👍 hope you’ve had a good day,
Busy-Lizzie I’m pleased you are feeling ok today and I hope your family all arrived safely, you’ll enjoy this time together whatever the weather,
Rubee I would have took off like a rocket if I’d had that spider on my lap, well done Rufus for coming to the rescue 😅
Biglad I hope you’re getting on well with all the garden plans,
I bought another Heuchera today, hoping this one will not suffer the same fate as the previous one.
    Have a lovely evening everyone.

Glad you're feeling ok @Busy-Lizzie. Hope the weather improves for you and your family.
@Ladybird4 what goodies did you get at the GC 😁

@Chivetalking glad you had a lovely catch up with your mum.  And you managed to get a new Heuchera.
@Rubee you wouldn't have seen me for dust, I really hate spiders 😩
Hasn't rained today, but the sky has been black all day and looked like it would pour down any minute.

Hello all. Well my GC visit this morning was partly successful in that I was able to get the compost I wanted (plus some rescue fuchsias and a peace lily - at £1 each they have to be a bargain) but shock horror: no bedding plants! Maybe they have all sold out and I was a bit late in getting myself organised to go after such a long time. I then nipped across the road to see Jack and deliver some seedlings I had grown for him. This afternoon I went to see the lady I take to Canasta (when we used to be able to go) and we had a very chatty time and I admired her garden which was another wild one, though she does have lawns. All in all another lovely day and all I want now is a good night's sleep and a dry day tomorrow so I can get stuck into the garden.

A friend of mine went to a couple of GC this week @Ladybird4 and she couldn't get any bedding plants either.  The fushias and Peace lily are good bargains though.  I'm hoping to get some more fuchsias soon. Once we're able to get the door done at the back of the garage and a patio put there too, I'm going to send for a couple of David Austin Roses.  Also want to get another Japanese anemone.

    Evening All,
LB What great bargains, shame about the lack of bedding plants though. Pleased you’ve had a good day it was nice to see your Canasta friends garden. I hope you have a better nights rest ready for the garden tomorrow,
SGL I’m glad I’m not the only one who reacts like that to spiders 😱 I have been known to River Dance when I find one on the floor 😉
Haven’t seen Hazel @Songbird-1 today hope she is ok.

SGL and Chive I was really surprised not to find any. I might have to try the bargain German SM as I know that they have definitely had them. I hope that I'm not too late. I am signing out for tonight. See you all tomorrow. I hope T'Bird, Ante and Busy-Lizzie are having wonderful evenings.
