Absolutely right about the bluebells @Ladybird4. The aftermath is too ugly to warrant the brief period of looking good. I dug out dozens of bulbs during the winter but there are still plenty left. I hadn't heard the bullocks tale. You did say bullocks, didn't you? :D

The Shauns may actually have propagated one of the roses they were munching on :o I went to pick up a piece of the debris left and it resisted. I think it may have started to root so I'll leave it and see what happens.

He's got another match to watch tonight @star gaze lily. Chelsea women in the Champions league cup final. We found out what neighbour posted the program through the door for him.
I didn't end up playing garden hokey cokey , The showers didn't arrive.....doesn't look like the thunderstorm will either, so I got to play out until now. Even got the grass cut, I know, I know, 'No Mow May', but my grass needed it.

Biglad 😲 its the fact they've lost 'em they're called bullocks!

Here are a couple of pictures. I'd love to have seen that one on the left having a go on the trampoline.

It's been raining here all day. And it's really chilly, we've put the heating on. Forecast for next week is awful.
OH doesn't watch women's footie @Pauline 7 🤗 @Songbird-1 glad your OH was pleased with the results 😉

Great pics @Ladybird4 but so glad that wasn't my garden.  😕

I've just had the fright of my life! A huge flash of lightning and the loudest crack of thunder I've ever heard. It seemed to be right over my house as everything rattled. I really jumped. Lily who was next to me was completely unperturbed (thank goodness) and then the rain torrented down. There was one more crack of thunder but it was more muted so I guess the storm had moved away. It didn't take the rain away though.

It's just started trying to rain here. I managed to squeeze a short run (18 mins) in. Didn't like the look of the black clouds on the horizon and what sounded like thunder so I turned round and scampered ( ;):D) back home.

@Biglad - do I detect a tiny exaggeration in the word 'scampered'? I cannot remember the last time I scampered anywhere.

Oh gosh @Biglad, so they are. In which case I correct my former statement - I scamper everywhere!
