Oops sorry LB, you weren't there when I posted.

Watched another episode of LOD and the first episode of The Pursuit of Love, couldn't be more opposite, but I enjoyed both of them. I realised I'd read The Pursuit of Love a while ago. I saw that SGL and Songbird weren't impressed. I like period drama.

I hope OH and your appointments go well tomorrow @star gaze lily

I like period dramas too. I probably didn't give it much chance @Busy-Lizzie I didn't really think of it as period drama, it seemed very strange and couldn't watch any more.

    Thank you.
Night night from me too. Sleep well everyone, sweet dreams

@Ladybird4 that is gorgeous I think mine has a way to go, some leaves but no buds yet. Maybe next year. Something to look forward to anyway.

    Morning all,

Weather looks decent at the moment. Can't be as bad as yesterday! It was certainly good enough for these Shauns to enjoy an al fresco dining experience in our front garden at this morning :o

I wouldn't mind if they gave the lawn a trim but they stomped straight over to the roses and started devouring all this year's new growth!

Good morning Debs, Chive, Biglad and all to follow. What a wonderful picture Biglad but I share your exasperation! I'm just glad that the roe deer cannot get into my garden. So what with the hailstones and the mobile pruners your poor garden is taking a right battering.

Good luck today SGL. Ante - if you get chance to look in I hope all is well with you and that the work is going well at the cottage.
p.s. Debs, it took my rhodie a year to settle in before it flowered. This is its 3rd year.

Morning everyone, I've been awake since 3.30 😩
Great photo @biglad but do feel for you. Think I'd cry if they ate my roses.
    Thank you, everyone very kind.
Think I need another cup of tea 😉
    Have a good day

Yours is a far nicer photo @Ladybird4!

Not a great couple of days for the garden but it could be worse. Neighbour over the road has created a lovely little front garden. Full borders around an immaculate lawn. The Shauns don't care as they crossed over into his 'restaurant' for their next course. It must be demoralising for him :(

However, I did my good deed for the day and chased them off and right up the road towards the fields they should be in. Must have been an alarming sight at 6am - Biglad herding a family of Shauns up the street ;)
