Good afternoon everyone. It has been absolutely wonderful weatherwise and I've had a productive day outside. I had an old, real stone trough at the side of the garage and I wanted to get it moved to just outside the back door for my sempervivums. Firstly I had to empty it of all the weeds and old compost that it was full of and then I had to shift it. It was extremely heavy so in the end I had to keep rotating it up the garden path - it was too heavy for my sack truck! It was standing on a double layer of house bricks - they were easy to move and I finally got it into place. I am jiggered now though and finished outside for the day.

Nice work @Ladybird4. Have a well-earned rest. It's really satisfying when you've moved such a heavy lump to the place where you want it. Or so the OH says, when she shifts me out of the house to the garden
I've been moving something a lot smaller but it definitely needed shifting.
Afternoon everyone, the weather has been lovely here too. I've managed to get out in the garden for a few hours and plant a few hanging baskets and a couple of pots. Also shifted a couple of plants around and have done a bit of weeding. The grass desperately needs cutting, but it's rather soggy at the moment. Well done @Ladybird4 for moving the planter. That will look lovely once planted up. @Songbird-1 I really hope once we get back to some sort of normal our sleep patterns return. I've been feeling rather lethargic lately too and I'm exhausted now after not much sleep. But hopefully in a few months we'll all feel a bit more like our usual selves. The sunshine has helped today, hope summer arrives soon. Aww goodness @Biglad where did you get rid of Roland. 😱 glad he's not in my garden. Did a cat catch it.
Hazel, I must have been tired as the trough was at the side of the greenhouse, not the garage as I typed in my post - sorry about that error. How did you catch your rat @Biglad? I am embarrassed to say that Lily is frightened of Cocky (Mr P.). He chased her up the garden and she fled passed me into the house. She then did that cat trick of looking at me as if to say 'I meant to do that!' as I was bent double laughing at her.

Busy-Lizzie, I see that the saga of the tiles goes on. It will be lovely to see your friends again after such a long time. I'm sure that they will love seeing your new home.

I visited Rubee and oh and felt so tired I went back to bed around noon and didn’t wake up until after 4pm. Alfie had joined me. I feel better for the sleep. Alfie seems perkier and is enjoying his treats. He’s now resting in the barrel. LB Mr P chasing Lily how funny, I’m sure Lily was not amused, bless her.

No cat involved @star gaze lily. They're too busy cr8pping in my garden to do anything useful
I have to confess that I caught it myself.
