Good morning all. Pouring down again and blowing a Gale! Busy day at work yesterday but only in this afternoon today though I think it will be indoor stuff only. So frustrating when there is so much to do in the garden!
Never mind, the big trees etc need this heavy rain to sustain them through the summer.
My middle daughter should have been getting married today. So glad she had to postpone this would have been awful for her and all the guests.
Hope you all stay warm and dry today roll on the weekend.

Morning everyone, what a windy night! Hope my sweet peas are still in my garden. Still very breezy and pouring with rain.  Definitely need some sunshine now.
Shame your daughter had to postpone her wedding, but maybe a good thing due to this awful weather @debs64

Hope everyone in the quiet corner are ok, hope to see you soon.
Have a good day everyone, a day for indoor things.

    Morning all,

My (younger, keener :( ) training partner thought that a hill sprint session at 6.30am would be a good idea this morning :o Needless to say Marti Pellow joined us!

Can't see much opportunity to get much gardening done today, but a trip to the recycling centre is certainly on the cards. I suppose if it stops persisting for a few minutes, I could get a few seeds planted. I want to get some salad leaves on the go as I've got loads of seeds.

The fence panels I wanted will be 6-8 wks before delivery. They're the same style as our shared boundary with NDN but I'm still mulling it over. They're not cheap (£48 each) but look good and should last longer than any I could get at half that price. I don't want to plant up the back border, get it established and then need to replace the fencing behind again in a few years. However, I'm keen to get some of the pants in the ground. Some are starting to outgrow their pots. Decisions, decisions ;)

Marti Pellow is here with a vengeance. I've just been out to fill the bird feeder and I got drenched in the process.
Forgot to say earlier that I rang Handy Brother and I was convinced it was Saturday. Handy Brother is very confused or is that me????

    Morning all.

Good luck at the dentist @Songbird-1. I'm so lucky, my son 2 is my dentist and he's very good.

I hope the day your daughter is finally able to have her wedding, @debs64, is a lovely sunny one.

Raining here. I came down earlier, lit the stove and took a coffee back to bed and read my book. Now the morning is nearly over, 11.47am in France. I've got dressed in my painting clothes to encourage me to start painting my bedroom. There is also a huge pile of ironing, mostly jeans and bedding, extra because of son's visit.

Power washer is put together. Hopefully, it will be fully operational when the OH tries to use it. Fortunately, it wasn't that hard because the instructions were pants!
