Good morning all. Busy day yesterday my daughter rang me at work and asked me to babysit Maisie and George in the afternoon and evening so no gardening for me. I got back late and slept until 7.30 but awake now and it’s dry so I need to get on!
LB have fun with rellies. Ante, I have planted 6 tomato plants it’s only me who eats them and I still have lots from last year in the freezer waiting to be made into chutney I have gone for gardeners delight let’s hope they live up to their name.

Morning debs. My all family loves tomatoes and I used last bottle of tomato sos for Easter. I purchased a professional tomato seeds, Heinz variety, and they don't need a stake or support for growing.

    Good Morning SGL & Debs,
SGL Nice that you have some sunshine, a very welcome sight after all the rain,
Ante This will be an emotional time for you all to see them finish after this past year, nice to have a celebration for them. All is fine in my bubble thank you, the school breaks for Whitsun holidays next week so looking forward to that. Those tomatoes sound very good,
Debs Hope the weather stays dry and you get all your baskets planted up today.
Wet things are hanging out & there’s a nice breeze I’m hopeful 🙄
  • Ante 120 tomato plants that’s quite a feat.  Good you went to the flower fair and had some free time and some new plants.  Chive funny thinking of Nel in slippers.  LB enjoy your day visiting rellies.  I hope you have cake too.  Don’t overdo it in the garden later.   Happy Birthday to sister in law🐣. Lily great you have sunshine.   I’m glad you had some sleep but not good when you keep waking.  Hazel are you preparing for visit to mum.

    Afternoon all,

I haven't ventured out yet but it looks dull, chilly and on the verge of Marti arriving at any moment.

Could be a lazy day ;)

Marti must've been busy elsewhere as he hasn't arrived yet. So I had a little mooch/tidy up outside. Earthed up the spuds and split the 3 small loganberry plants I got last week into 6. Moved the last of the tomato seedlings into the mini greenhouse so I've got room for the latest tray of seeds. Sowed some rocket and basil.

Back inside for something to eat and football/golf viewing for the rest of the day :)
