    Thank you Rosie and Chive.

Night night everyone sleep well and sweet dreams
  • Good morning everyone.  Chive sorry to hear you’re lacking energy and falling asleep.  It may be an idea to have a blood test to see if you’re lacking vitamins.   I hope you’ll soon get your energy back.   I’m up early and have had breakfast and just going to make a cuppa.

Good morning RosieBB, Debs and all to follow. Good to see you SGL and that it was just an internet glitch which stopped you posting. RosieBB, pleased to hear Alfie is picking up. Hazel, don't be overdoing things. You must be looking forward to a visit to your Mum.
Chive, I did manage to get my cloth things dry (ssshhhh still no rain here!) and its looking like I might get into the garden. You are not on your own Chive. I feel tired most of the time (sleep pattern is crazy) and I know that my diet is rubbish. I find it difficult to get motivated to do anything in the house and there are loads of jobs staring at me! Getting into the greenhouse and garden is different but all the time at the back of my mind is the HW! A few weeks of reliable sunny weather would definitely help.

p.s. I'm happy to report I've just seen Hoppity on the back gate. I hadn't seen her for a while and was a little concerned.

@Ladybird4 you are not alone with feeling unmotivated. I am keeping everything crossed that life can return to normality in June because so many people I speak to are at the end of their tether. It has been proven that small social interactions with many people( a nod or a smile, comment on the weather etc) are vital for our mental health and this has been absent for too long. I consider myself very lucky to have been working throughout the pandemic.
I hope the sun starts to shine soon for all of us and we can enjoy our gardens and our lives again.
As for hou**work, it’s like eating an elephant - one bite at a time! I do one room at a time properly then reward myself. It’s easier to clean a dirty house anyway,
Take care and hope you all have a happy Wednesday. I am working with my absolute favourite pharmacist today have not seen her for months so I think a hug will be in order.
  • Debs good to think there’s a better day ahead of you.  It’s a sunny morning but still cool.  Alfie’s sunbathing on the windowsill.  He’s had a better night.

Morning everyone, I had an awful nights sleep. Fell asleep ok but then lay awake for hours. Must have dozed off sometime after 6 and have just woken up. Will read back in a mo, but need a cup of tea.
    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all.

I'm sorry you didn't sleep well sg lily. Will you be able to have a siesta during the day?

The floor tiles for the study and utility room were supposed to come this morning, they are already late, but they haven't turned up. Builder is cross. Lorry driver left Bordeaux with them early this morning but isn't answering his phone.

Two friends who live near my old house are coming to lunch today. They haven't seen my new house yet. Look forward to seeing them. We have all been vaccinated.
