There must be a few scaredy-cats like that in our neighbourhood @Ladybird4
I'm glad I wasn't aware of that when I cornered it, @Songbird-1
When holidaying with my aunty/uncle as a kid, I was the one who ended up disposing of the 'presents' that their cat used to deposit under the breakfast table. Strange boy - I've always been more comfortable picking up dead animals than live ones! I never picked up the family rabbit during the 12 years it was alive but was ok with putting it into a coffin
@Busy-Lizzie hope the tiles turn up soon. @Chivetalking feel exhausted now, I'll be going up soon. @bluebellsinthewild you must have been very tired, but I do hope you will sleep tonight too.
The tiles didn't arrive but I really enjoyed lunch with my friends and they were very complimentary about the house and the garden. One of them gave me a Star Jasmine, I will have to think where to put it. Front of the house has shade from trees and the hedge, back is north facing. The garden is big enough for the beds to get sun but I think Star Jasmine likes some shelter. The one I had at the last house was on a south facing wall.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Good morning all. Dry again here today, yesterday was much better weather than forecast so fiancé had a few trips out on his motorbike so is a happy bunny.
Work for me again, lovely to see my favourite pharmacist yesterday she is going to do a few more Wednesday shifts so that’s something to look forward to.
My basket plants are all awaiting the weekend out on the potting bench. Can’t wait to get them planted up

Good morning Debs and all to follow. What a lovely day you had yesterday Busy-Lizzie - apart from the tiles non arrival! There will be a lot of celebrations when that does happen. I'm sure you will find a spot for the star jasmine. I have never had any success with that in my garden.
Debs, fingers crossed for a productive weekend. Your baskets will bring joy to everyone.
I'm off to see my Bestie again today and friend from Crewe is coming up to have her hair done so we'll have a major catch up.
