In South London they were called rolls, or bread rolls, but not morning rolls and definitely not baps. Moving to Leicester I had to adjust to calling them cobs.

We do have baps in South London now but only in downmarket sandwich shops that need extra wide doors and reinforced floors. It's amazing what you see spilling out of a bap as it is eaten on the hoof by a waddler.
I really enjoyed the article too pansyface, it's b*****d the mascara up and that's for sure. I spent my life in Derbyshire alternating being called mi duck and you little sod.
