It's funny how many people working for Asian call centres have English names, isn't it?

The one I like is the confusion between draws and drawers. The misuse of either invariably makes me laugh.

    Hi @NewBoy2,

How come I've got a mention in your post at 14:09?

Eric’s mum, I remember trying to order a banana milk shake in Florida, and no one could work out what I wanted until I pronounced it to rhyme with bandana.

It's vowels, isn't it? How hard can it be to understand  that vowels can be pronounced differently by different speakers of English? Mentally scroll through the alternatives forgoodnessake. You can make first contact with aliens.

Something I have read frequently in recent weeks that annoys me is people calling plants, especially young plants, their babies. It is as vomit-inducing as calling a cat or dog a fur baby. Also, ascribing gender to plants, especially if they have a female name, is more unwarranted anthropomorphism.
