  • I wouldn't mind Xmas appearing in Sept if it meant early lebkuchen, but that never appears until December, so it's just a ruse to get us all eating (even) more chocolate!

I think that the more depressing/ disappointing the year, the more we look forward to the fantasy of Christmas. Is it a bit like childbirth? Apparently you don't remember the pain so you do it again.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Believe me, you wouldn’t😀

I've just seen my first tv ad this must be a bit depressing for people who’ve had a bad year money wise,  seeing all the things they can’t have.

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

I prefer mince pies to hot cross buns and I don't like creme eggs so once Easter is out of the way, I can enjoy 'seasonal '  food

Wow, that's lovely! I think I'm too greedy for that, it wouldn't get out of the bowl 😉

  • The continuous use of "Box Set" as opposed to Boxed Set.  Given the panic over the shortage of cardboard at present, why is the Beeb ( and others ) advertising sets of boxes ?  For our Compost heaps perhaps ?
