I’m another ‘dye-sect’. I think maybe it is a generational thing.

I must use that CRAFT acronym the very first chance I get😀 More effective I’d imagine  said in a suitably posh accent.

Hard A much more effective than soft. Sounds less like crocheting toilet roll cosies.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Hard A as in ??
If you mean as in the pronunciation of the word ‘Craft’ I don’t think you’re allowed into John Lewis if you use a soft A.

Dunno. I've wandered around JL but I've never actually spoken to anyone.
Posh vowels are different to those used by mere  mortals . It's one of the ways they identify each other.

Yes, rudeness and lack of good manners. For example, someone asks for an ID of something, no please or thank you. Not all by any manner or means but the lack stands out. Fair winds me up it does.

Athalete is one that really winds me up.
Since when was an 'a' added to that word?  :/

It's not as if it's a difficult word to pronounce...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I think that kind of mispronunciation is probably down to poor spelling/reading skills.
