Lovely day here now, gotta get planting, oh went for Sunday papers, asked Cashier if she watches LINE OF DUTY,she said she's never heard of it. Well, fellow followers,WHO is H
I hope you and Chicklet enjoy your day out @chicky. Covid has been very hard on the young.
I'm off to lunch with Son 2 and family. Our lockdown finishes tomorrow, well, part of it does, so I've filled in a form to say I'm babysitting in case I'm stopped by the gendarmes.
Sun is shining, no frost. OH said there was no frost in his part of Norfolk, I suppose Dove is a bit further north.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Sunny and very nearly a frost here this morning, such a worry when there are so many young plants out there.
I am desperately trying to keep panic about opening at bay, lots and lots of lists going and e-mails and orders flying around, I am fine until the bit where I have to rely on others, I hate the feeling of being out of control and dependent on others, but I know it will be alrght in the end, just need a bit of faith. Hopefully after the staff meeting tomorrow I will feel a little better, once the rota is drawn up and I have had the opportuity to talk to eveyone I will have a bit more confidence in making this happen. Charlie has also made a few comments about losing me to CdeG again, so I am conscious I have to make sure I balance work/life even if I have to spend a bit more on staff and have a bit more trust in others. all very difficult at the moment.
Anyway, I wish you all a good day.
@chicky enjoy with your trip to Birmingham, you must be so proud and quite rightly so of Littlest Chicklet, life is so tough at times but we do get though it and with a smile and laughter, very admirable.

Full of cold, probably a result of recent stresses.
Congratulations to chicklet, I was speaking to youngest niece, she is trying to prepare for A-levels, whilst looking at Universities, such a stressful time for all youngsters.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Morning all, bright and dry again, we had some showers yesterday but so little it was drying up almost as quickly it started. Finally got round to splitting one of the pot bound Hostas yesterday, got the other one to do today, getting them out of the pots is the difficult bit. Hope @Hostafan1 is pleased with us. Picture to follow.
Good luck DD must be stress full my ex husband had his own cleaning business, and it was a nightmare. Shame you aren't near, both my "girls" have trained silver service, the lot. As a second job,one is manager of a very well known large super market chain, the other soft wear expert for a different large chain. Both very customer oriented, with very good "secret shopper" reviews
It's clouding over and looks like rain ... just in time the weeds have been hoed, seeds have been sowed, plants have been dug up, divided, planted, watered, fed and mulched and the salvias have been cut back ... even if we are getting frosts I can't wait any longer. OH has been a star and done all the heavy work but even so my back is complaining ... he's just going to have a cuppa then rub some Deep Heat around my lumbar region. In the meantime I've scraped new potatoes, prepped the veg and the pork is ready to go into the oven ... all I have left to do is peel, slice and make apple sauce from a couple of Bramleys and pick some mint for the potatoes. Now I'm going to sit down .........

Lovely and sunny here too, but heavy frost again.
