We haven’t been out the back to check the dam levels, Hosta. We’ll probably go out there for a drive over the weekend. We have 5 dams spread over the paddocks. One for each paddock, from when we had the Angora goats. 😃

Morning all. Great pictures @Pat E and @Dordogne_Damsel and glad you're feeling a bit better Punkdoc.
The market sounds good BL, hope you find some fish.
Not had a good night, full of aches and pains and horrible dreams. Still the sun is shining and its dry so need to get out there, weeds to pull, penstemons to cut back and more plug plants to pot on. Coffee and Danish await when OH gets back, I'm saving my energy for gardening today, so I'm not walking down to the shop today.

    I feel your pain @punkdoc 🩌

I find that the Grazers spray against deer/rabbits is quite effective.

Yes @Hostafan1 but it has to be killed first

I went to the market, bought a sea bass and some big shell on prawns, veg, bananas and local strawberries. There was a stall selling English sausages, pork, bacon and lamb from an English couple's farm. I bought some Lincolnshire herby sausages and lamb chops. Don't see much lamb here and it's expensive and French sausages aren't the same, often have lumps and fatty bits.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Good morning/afternoon

@D0rdogne_Damsel   Wow, that tea room looks fantastic!  What a transformation after this winter's work!  The 9th June will come racing around faster than expected.

@Busy-Lizzie - our markets are slow as now the shoppers aren't allowed to help themselves (fruit and vegetables) so a 30 minute shop turns into over an hour to get round 2 or 3 stalls.  I wonder if @Obelixx and @floralies have the same system.  (The Covid system)  Yes, lamb here is very very expensive and it's my favourite meat.  Have to say goodbye to delicious English sausages that my friends would bring down for me, amongst other things.  BTW LeClerc international section still has a good stock of English products.  I also got a good price for Marmite on Amazon last week.

@Pat E - that's some river - you'll be rafting down the Murray before long!!

@punkdoc  Take it slowly in the morning, and not too fast in the evening!

Windy, cloudy, some sun, but warm(ish)  Have a good day.

Good idea @tuikowhai34, but if I go much slower, I might take root.

At least you’ve still got your sense of humour, Punkdoc. 😂

Tui, I just know you’re joking. Rowing at age 80 is a step too far, I think. 😁
