I've lit the stove here @Obelixx, but it hasn't properly rained yet. It wasn't that cold either today, better than forecast. I hope Minstrel's treatment works quickly.
I went to the nursery and bought 7 perennials and a pot of baby leeks. Leeks are planted and 6 perennials are in the vegetable garden for the time being. I will be making a bed of bright colours in front of the dining room.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Log burner lit. Toasty doggies sprawled in front and Minstrel is on her fleece on the back of the sofa. Fatty Cosmos is snuggled upstairs with Possum and her 9 tog duvet watching films on her PC.
I am watching a recording of the Channel 4 gardening design prog with that Liverpudlian from the Perfect Garden series and who also had a feature from his roof garden in Margate on GW plus @punkdoc's young lady from the boat on the Thames. She's just suggested young hosta leaves can be cooked!! Sacrilege.
After a very soggy day (good) we have a bit of blue sky and late sun.

Another 21mm rain so that brings it up to 39mm in two days, 👏👏👏 It’s not freezing either, so that’s a plus.
Hope your lovely little white one is ok Obelixx. I love the names you’ve given the chooks. They sound appropriate to their various looks and behaviours. 😃
Off to town this morning. Shopping and Hubby is due for another blood test. It never seems to end. Sigh!
I spoke to my Mandolin orchestra friend in Melbourne yesterday and found out that her lovely partner has died. Such a shock. She must miss him.

Evening all.
This is how much rain we've had in the last 24 hours.
@WonkyWomble thinks she’s siliconed the greenhouse back together. 🤞
Hope Minstrel feels much better very soon. Horrid when they’re ill. 😞

Looks like it could be a cracker today. Judging by the 'pond' area, my garden has had a good enough watering for a while.
Have a good day all, I hope the weather damage isn't too bad, nice rain here, but kept warm. Sun is out now.
