Good morning all. Pouring with rain here but as I am at work all day I am pleased. Garden needs it and hopefully it will keep the customers away! More changes to come at work in September but they won’t affect me as much, so trying not to stress.
Thoughts to all of you in the quiet corner. Hope everyone has a nice indoor day planned if you have this weather.

Morning everyone . Debs I hope that your day is less stressful. It’s quite dark here this morning . I don’t think it’s going to be a gardening day .Local weather forecast says, rain for the next week .
Whatever you are doing today ,have a pleasant one .

Morning Debs and all to follow.
Absolutely pouring down here too. The sky looks very grey. Hope you have a good day at work. Sorry to hear there are more changes. Hopefully it will still not affect you come September. It's a few months away, try not to think about it.
Time for a cup of tea.

Oops sorry Ruby, you weren't there just now.
It's dark here too, we have the lights on. Rain forecast for all next week too. I know the garden needs the rain, but would like some sunshine too.
    Have a good day everyone.

Good morning Debs, Ruby and SGL. I have woken up later today and awoken to torrential rain. The Crescent, Lane and my next door neighbour's garden are all under water, The wind is blowing a hoolie as well so its not looking good for outdoor work. I haven't yet beem out to check my back garden so that is probably under water as well. Debs, hope its a quiet day for you today and don't worry about September.

Morning Hazel. Well done for last night's work. You could take a few cuttings now from the honeysuckle just in case. It won't harm the original plant.

Morning all - feeling a bit better this morning. Think we're going to have a run out to a farm shop or somewhere - just to get out as much as anything. Wherever we go I'll be taking my waterproof....

Hazel - LB beat me to it. Definitely worth taking a load of cuttings in the hope one will strike. Nothing to lose except a couple of pots of compost and 15 mins of your time. I'd be out there in the rain - but maybe do the actual potting in the kitchen🙃

Good morning T'Bird. Good to hear you are feeling better. Handy brother is going shopping this morning - just to get out.
I had a text from Ozzie brother to say that he and his OH had their first vaccines (AZ) yesterday so I hope that they don't get any major side effects.

    Morning all,

Definitely a Marti Pellow day for most of us!

Hope the French beans that I planted out yesterday aren't taking too much of a battering :o

Looks like I could be welded to the comfy armchair watching sport on TV today ;)

    Hello all.
Glad you are feeling better @Topbird

It's a glorious day here in Dordogne, 27° forecast for this afternoon. I've been mowing the grass. On Sunday's and bank holidays in France you are only allowed to mow between 10am and 12 and it's a bank holiday today. Rain is forecast for most of the next 2 weeks.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
