Chive  I hope that you are having a relaxing day . I woke with a headache this morning . I don’t often get them . I must try to shake it off so that I can go in the garden. Hope everyone is having a peaceful Sunday .

Hazel the increased height is great. It makes me nearly 6' tall! More importantly it means the top of the back hedge is at hip height instead of chest height - much more comfortable for cutting. OH will still have to do the high hedges though!

Rubee - headaches can drag you down - hope yours passes soon.

Right - next task is to make a whole load of lists ready for going away.

Good Morning RosieBB, SGL, Topbird & Hazel,
Rubee Poor you with a headache, hope it improves soon and doesn’t spoil your day,
Rosie Nice to have a lie in on a Sunday, can imagine Alfie was all for that idea too,
SGL Hope the sun stays out so you’ll be able to get outdoors, hope the poppets are all doing well,
Topbird Glad you are feeling better now, enjoy making preparations for your next exciting trip away,
Hazel I’m pleased your granddaughters school is settling down, we are still testing twice weekly but no cases thank goodness (touchwood). You both sound busy moving things around the garden, I’m sure you will have success with the Honeysuckle cuttings,
    Have a nice afternoon all.

Chive good to see youre back and that your beehouse is alive with bees.  Yes Alfie had a lie in too.  It’s good to do that on Sunday.  LB I’ve had a shower and watching ninja warrior Australia, something to put your feet up with :).   Hazel the sun didn’t last long, threatening rain.  Visited the rellies this morning after Beechgrove and watched an old Gary Cooper film 1932.  6ft 7” is very tall.  Rubee I hope your headache soon passes.  Have a restful day.  Biglad enjoy the football.

6ft 7" is too tall :o . I was 6ft 2" at 14 but decided to stop growing upwards at that point - far too leggy! Got pinched out and grew outwards instead ;)

Afternoon everyone, we had beautiful sunshine this morning, but it's now clouded over and looks like rain.
Still at least I got the cloth things dry.
@Songbird-1 OH has an appointment with his oncologist Tuesday morning. Thank you for asking, very kind. Shame it's the same morning as my 2nd vaccine in the opposite direction😕
     Goodness 6ft 7in  that is extremely tall, I'm only 5ft 4in.
@Chivetalking poppets are very well, thank you, hopefully see them again soon 😍🤗
Sorry you have a headache @Rubee have a lazy afternoon.
    Enjoy the footie @Biglad
    @Topbird glad you're feeling better. I want a new trug 😁
Time for a cup of tea, I think.....and maybe a biscuit.

Thank you Hazel, not nosey at all.  We'll go separately. Not sure if I would be allowed in anyway. Wasn't last time. Our eldest son is going to take him.
His appointment is 10.45 and mine is 11.50 but in opposite directions. Never mind, just glad he's being seen at last.
You've been busy Hazel, pathway sounds perfect.

They haven’t grown much at all .Taken a chance and planted them in a pot outside . I grow all my seeds and and plug plants on windowsills all round the house .It’s good to get them outside when it’s warm enough.

    Hello all.
I hope your cold is better soon LB.

I've been having a very quiet day. Lots of things I could have done around the house but I haven't done any of them, not even cleaned the shower. Watched another Line of Duty and Gardeners World. Had a chat on the phone with a friend.

We are on an orange alert for wind and thunderstorms. It's been windy, some rain, no storms, yet. I did tie up the tomatoes just in case, though I don't even know if I'll be eating them. Hoping to go to Norfolk mid June, Covid permitting, so I can be there for OH's hip replacement.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hazel - you might think you're short but you're 2" taller than me. Could be more - it's a few years since I was measured & I could believe I'm now under 5' as most people shrink a bit with age. Certainly seem to need the little step stools I have dotted about the house a bit more each year. Pruning tall shrubs and trees and cutting hedges is a challenge!

Done a few bits and bobs outside ready for going away. Wish I could cut the grass in advance...
