Hi all, busy day here and it’s been lovely weather warm and sunny Graham was happy. Got all my jobs done, house clean and tidy, shopping done, washing dry, stock reduced and all my seeds sown . That’s it now apart from a few nasturtium seeds popped around the edges of pots. Need to start potting stuff on and planting out as long as forecast stays good.
Hope all of you who have been feeling poorly are feeling better. Sounds like we have all had a good Sunday. Watching an old film and drinking a large glass of wine 🍷 before an early night. Hope we all sleep well.
Evening everyone, lovely day have spent the afternoon in the garden,
SGL Glad the poppets are keeping well, I hope you can see them properly soon. Pleased to hear your oH has his appointment at long last and your son is able to take him. Hope all goes well on Tuesday with your 2nd jab, RosieBB I have been watching the bees again today, lots of coming and going I do love it, hope you’ve had a good catch up with your rellies today, Hazel It was so nice to read that you’d had 23 over to play in the garden last weekend, lots of energy in a little person, your garden sounds very well organised, Glad your head is better Rubee, hope the pepper plants show signs of growing now they are outside, Busy-Lizzie It sounds like a nice relaxed day for a change, though the weather warnings are worrying I hope your garden doesn’t suffer too much, Topbird Those new steps sound really useful, hope your new trug works out well they are handy too, Debs Enjoy that glass of wine, you deserve it after getting everything done, Hope LB is taking things easy today, have a nice evening everyone.
Evening all. Great news about your OH SGL. I know that you both have been waiting ages for this check up appointment. Bit of a nuisance you have to go in the opposite direction for your jab though. Well done to son for stepping into the breach. Sorry to hear that you woke up with a headache Ruby. I hope it soon went and you have been able to enjoy the day. I don't think it was as cold today as it was yesterday though I didn't escape rain. Blooming typical!
T'Bird, I am very impressed with the sound of your double step and will be looking at those as I am one of the vertically challenged too (5 feet and half an inch to be exact - I'm taller than you so there 😜!) and it could be useful for me in the garden. RosieBB, I wonder if it is true that they had to dig trenches for Gary Cooper to stand in when he was filming so that he would be more 'on the level' of the other actors. That may be an urban myth of course. I'm glad that Alfie had a lie in this morning.
Debs, you put me to shame with all your activity today. Has Graham had any strawberries yet?
Chive, I'm pleased to hear you could get into the garden this afternoon. So very restful when you can just sit and look. Watching bees busy about their daily work is a tonic.
Busy-Lizzie, you have gone from the sublime of your high temperature the other day to storm warnings! I trust you have all your hatches battened down? I do hope that you can get over to Norfolk next month. (When you say it like that it doesn't seem so far away!)
I am going to have serious withdrawal symptoms tonight with no LOD. How about you SGL and Ruby?

Hazel, I'm glad your bike is ready for collection. As for the new programme, I have to say that the trailers have not made me eager to watch it. I will have an early night instead. My cold is progressing - hopefully tomorrow will be a bit better. Thank you for asking. I am signing out for tonight too. See everyone tomorrow.

Lily will be thinking about you and oh and I’m glad your son can go with him. LB sleep soundly and I hope you feel better in the morning. I’m having an early night too. Goodnight everyone. Chive I’m glad you’ve had a good day.
LB - hope you're feeling a bit better - a hot toddy always helps😉
The caravan steps I bought are either these ones or very similar. As I said - they're very stable and don't sink into the soil - can recommend them. Great for tasks (like those unmentionables mentioned by Hazel!) around the house too.
Thank you everyone for your kind messages about OH and his appointment. @Songbird-1 I have to go just over 5 miles away for my vaccine, not too bad, but a shame our own surgery isn't doing them. I do hope they give the booster if we have to have it later in the year. But I doubt it. @Ladybird4 I do hope you feel better in the morning. I'm definitely missing LOD has everyone seen all episodes yet, I want to know what you all thought of it 😁 Do hope they make another series Good news about your bike @Songbird-1 that didn't take long. Glad your headache is better @Rubee hope you get a good night's sleep. You deserve a glass of wine after your busy day @debs64 Sorry minds gone blank, 🤦🏻♀️ can't remember everything else. Hope all poorly peeps feel better soon and also hope to see all our friends in the quiet corner again soon. Night night everyone, sleep well
A very good morning one and all. I am feeling a lot better this morning - thank you for all your good wishes. Thanks to you too T'Bird for the link - excellent. I'm definitely (not definately!) going to have one of those. I had looked at others but because they had narrow legs and feet I resisted them as I knew that they would just sink into the ground.
