Thank you @Chivetalking Have a lovely evening Glad all went well with your vaccine @Ladybird4 hope you don't have any side effects. Take it easy. Goodness you've been busy @Rubee have a restful evening. Still sunny here, but the temperature has definitely dropped now.
Meant to say when we popped out for OH vaccine, outside the pubs and coffee shops were packed and buzzing. Agree with you LB, staying away till the novelty wears off 😉
More running around a field duties this morning. Unfortunately, one of the officials for the game in the afternoon cried off so I ended up doing that as well. Out of the house for 8 hours, with 3-4 of those hours spent getting fried on a glorious summer's day Â
Not exactly the pottering in the garden afternoon I was planning. A tad fatigued now so guaranteed to be falling asleep in my comfy armchair in the not too distant future!
Evening Biglad. The garden will still be there - ready to be tackled whenever you have the time. It must have been great reffing in the sunshine. I think you fully deserve to be lolling in your armchair and having a rest now.

Hazel the garden looks better and he tidied up afterwards. Â Sorry your jab was painful, some are better than others. Â Have a rest tomorrow. Â LB there were no signs of birds nesting. Important to be aware, thank you. Â Chive I quite like things a little unruly, but the hedge had gone wild. Â Biglad have a restful evening. Â Goodnight everyone, sleep well.
Thank you @Songbird-1, @star gaze lily and @Chivetalking. I'm glad I've been busy, making the new garden and having builders here and doing the painting of the new rooms. The first lockdown I was in Norfolk with OH at his house, was quite happy not being able to go back to France.
I've had my first jab, not so easy to find appointments here, lack of vaccines, but things are speeding up now. I had to go to another town, 40 minutes away. Had to keep looking online for appointments. It was well organised, I sat down for it, hardly felt the prick and you had to wait sitting down for 15 mins before you could go. I was given both appointments, next jab is on 13th May.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Oops, fell asleep on the sofa again. Hope Hazel and LB are feeling ok after your vaccine, sleep well. Night night everyone, sleep well and sweet dreamsÂ
A very good morning everyone. Its a glorious morning here. I've been watering in the greenhouse and I've filled the bird feeders. Pleased to report no side effects. Hope that applies to Hazel and SGL's OH. I hope that you got back to sleep again SGL.
@Busy-Lizzie, despite the long drive it must have been such a relief for you to get your first dose of the vaccine. My sister and brother in law are itching to get back to their caravan in the South of France. They were lucky enough last year to just get back into the UK before the first lockdown but they want to get back out as soon as possible.
T'Bird, if you look in, I hope that the holiday is going well and that you have sampled some cider! You have had kind weather but I hope that your newly planted shrubs are not suffering too much.
