Hello all. Back from catching up with the rellies. I'm going to have an early lunch and then outside for me!
I bet you have finished your painting now Ante - I'm sure its a job well done.
SGL, Lily sits under the bird feeders and they ignore her. I think they have sussed that she is no longer a threat - they happily feed over her. I think she is frightened of the pheasants as well.

LB I love the snoopy and Woodstock message. I also remember the love is messages. You’re lucky to see the roe deer. Lily I hope you are less a achey today. Chive it’s another sunny day and not as cold last night. Hazel I’m hoping my peony will flower again this year, it took some years to come through. Have a good day everyone.
Afternoon All, sitting with a cuppa in the sunshine once again very lucky, LB It’s so nice to hear you’ve been to see your rellies, feels like the return to some normality. Enjoy your time in the garden, RosieBB Glad you have sun today, I hope you do see your Peony flower again that would be lovely, I’ve advertised my compost bin for free, I hope someone can use it. Front lawn is cut now the back gardens turn. My OH is nursing a hangover, had too much of a jolly time last night with some pals 🍻
Afternoon Hazel, Thanks OH is having an easy day 🛋📺 Gosh you’ve accomplished a lot this morning, a real busy bee. It sounds like you have a lot of juggling to do with all the variety of plants you have growing, Debs I hope your OH can unwind today after such a busy first week, enjoy your day together.
Where on earth does time go? I've had a busy day and came in a while back because I was starting to feel cold.
RosieBB, I have paeonies in my garden which I have had for tens of years and they have never flowered yet though they come up every year. I am one of those who is a bit nervous about moving them. I planted them just below the soil surface as is recommended but no luck whatsoever. I might bite the bullet this year and move them in October. I would love to see them flower.
Hazel, I'm surprised that you can bring your young plants out of the cold frame so early. Do you live in a warmish area or are you just hardening them off and popping them back into the cold frame at night? I daren't risk mine outside just yet.
SGL its LOD night. I wonder what shocks we'll get tonight. Don't worry, if you are recording it, there will be no spoilers.

Good evening everyone .LB I have three paeonies one is tree paeonie. Had them for years and they haven’t flowered ,so disappointing. I keep hoping .Very busy day planting and dividing plants again. I have planted up my three little hanging buckets. Nothing much to see yet . I will post a pic when they flower .I am looking forward to LOD too . It’s a cracking series.I am signing out ,see you tomorrow .
Good evening all. Lovely lazy day before I am back to work tomorrow. When we moved into this house there were several clumps of a gorgeous dark red peony. My daughter covered some for her garden. I literally dug some up, split with a spade and popped into 2 pots. Both clumps look healthy and the larger one is covered in buds so I must have done something right but not sure what, maybe the fact that they came from roots already flowering and old?
