Songbird I think it will take time to adapt again to larger groups and busier environments so just take it steady and don’t expect too much of yourself. We are adaptable creatures so we will get used to it. Give it time.Â
I have hay fever at the moment and can develop a dry cough it’s really difficult to suppress. Try to take comfort in the fact that so many people have been vaccinated and the only reason ( I have been told by someone who knows his stuff) they are saying it won’t guarantee protection from others is because the clinical trials haven’t been finished as they take too long. They are in progress and the results are good but they are erring on the side of caution. The vaccines are doing their job so please don’t worry, it upsets me that so many people are so very frightened and feel constrained because this vaccine has really made a massive difference to your safety. Take careÂ
Evening all. I have just got in from the garden having had a very chilled-out time. Got lots done despite my youngest sister wanting me to call her (she who would win the Olympic Gold Medal for chatting). It was lovely talking with her and she sent me some pics of the extension she and her OH are having done at their home. It will look super when its finished. Its been a great day today - at one point I thought it might rain but it brightened up again. Its cuppa and feet up time for me now.
Debs, its good to hear that your day has proved to be a real unwind for you.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Threatened to rain here as well @Ladybird4 but never quite did. Could do with a shower or two as I'm already getting a tad bored of watering duties so early in the year.
Almost half of my tomato seeds have germinated after a week. Very happy with that.
Hate to say it, but our garden needs some rain too @Songbird-1 have given it a good watering the last few dsys. We had another beautiful day, but it started to get a bit chilly during the afternoon. I did think it would rain this evening as the sky got quite cloudy. OH has an appointment for his 2nd vaccine on Saturday. @debs64 glad you had a lovely day with your daughter. Night night everyone sleep wellÂ
Good morning all, back to work today and hoping for some clarity on changes re overtime. Feeling much better about things after a day in the garden and time spent with my daughter she is very sensible and able to put things into perspective without making me feel as if I have overreacted, which I do a lot, I just hate change but this may work well for me.Â
Going to my sisters for tea after work.Â
Cooler and grey here hope everyone has a good day planned.Â
Good morning everyone.Lily I will have to hose the back garden today .Doesn’t take much sun to dry the soil does  it ? Good that tomato seeds are coming on  .I bought five plug plants  . I hope everyone else is ok ,forgotten what was going to say .Have a good day .ðŸ¤
