Good Morning Ante, Debs, LB & Rubee and all to follow,
Ante Ooh Apricot cake 😋 lovely tulips the colours are gorgeous, agree with LB the 2nd one looks like a flamingo,
Debs Glad your arm is not causing too much discomfort, enjoy your time in the garden & allotment,
LB Sounds like an exciting plan to create a bee & butterfly border but take care of that left knee, hopefully the soil is good and easily workable.
Rubee Placing your crochet rug on the back of a chair is a great idea, hope you have a nice day ahead,
The sun is out, so I’m hoping to get outdoors and remove that compost bin but first tea.
    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning

Such good news about you and sick being reunited @Ante30. Facebook has many bad points but also so many good points too and this is an example.

The photos of Tulips are beautiful. The colours are so vibrant.

That is a good idea creating bee friendly spot in your garden LB. I have created a small section for this year and sown some wild flowers and I have put some Borage seeds in and scattered a few cornflowers too. I know it's only a small spot but every little bit helps.

Beautiful day here. The car is frosted up so it must be cold but i am sure once the morning goes on a bit the temperature will rise.

New border sounds lovely @Ladybird4 I want to see some wild flowers in a patch at the back. Hopefully I can get to a GC soon.
    Have a lovely day everyone
Need another cup of tea 😉

    Good Morning PurpleRose & SGL,
PurpleRose I’m sure the wildlife will love the spot you have created for them,
SGL I hope you slept well, a trip to the GC will be so nice for you to do one day soon,
Wet things are hanging out, just need one more cup of tea to assess the job before I get started.

Hi Chive, I did until about 3.15 and then just lay there awake till about 5🤦🏻‍♀️
Have 'sco delivery this morning and then hope to get out in the garden.
  • Chive, I hope you soon get in a routine that suits you.  Alfie is enjoying, sleeping, purring, grooming and eating, bless him.  Ante such good news about sock being discovered and the lady looking after him.  I’m so pleased for you and Sock.  Enjoy the apricot cake.  LB I’m hoping your left knee is feeling better.  Enjoy your gardening.

Afternoon folks,  So glad that you and Sock are reunited @Ante30 Nice to hear a happy story for a change.
I've been potting up 55 plug plants delivered today from Brookside.  I've still got so many seedlings to pot on that I'm worried I wont have enough space, compost or pots.  I think I've grown even more than normal, but I am being a bit stricter about how many I actually pot on.  Will be giving the borders and pots a good watering tonight, everything is so dry.

Afties all. Hazel, I think that you could be right. Thank you. A friend of mine suggested that as well. Its just amazing where I found it so it was obviously a present from a bird.
I tried not to do too much today but what I did do wore me out and I've not even started on the border yet. I've been reclaiming pots again - where the occupying plants have been killed by the frosts we had the other week. I also found a squirrel present - an acorn that had germinated in one of the pots. Lily came out to oversee what I was doing. The minute I start to dig I know she is thinking 'Hmmm, the slave is digging me a new toilet.'

    Afternoon all.

Workers left few minutes ago an I have a few moments before cleaning. Ops, Col TT on the sight!😂 They will come at Monday to continue. In ten days will be, probably, finish.
I see that a lot of you were in the garden, but here is cold and with wind, so impossible to work outside. Next Tuesday snow again. Never saw before so cold April. Tonight's again Poirot.
Sock is better and he was playing with my other cats. So satisfying to see them all together again.
