This is my young magnolia - a little bit frosted when it was in bud but it is still rather beautiful.

SGL, one of today's tasks was to get the dark cloth things into Lily's TV and they are now out on the whirligig. I have had to do a fair amount of watering today which seems 'wrong' after I had so much rain earlier this year. I'm quite pooped now and need a cuppa. I hope that @Chivetalking is ok

@Ladybird4 I’m ok thank you 😊 Those are some beautiful pictures from your garden, the Magnolia is very pretty & the Primulas are such a lovely sight. How are your knees?

Hi Hazel, I do feel tired the little people have kept me on my toes this week. I love to see Magnolias they really are taking centre stage at the moment with their blooms.  Oh no not more freezing temperatures, we had hail yesterday and sunshine today just don’t know what’s coming next 🙄

Yes I will crochet what’s left of the chunky wool in to squares Hazel  .It’s too thick to use on a lot of projects . I will sew the squares together . Hopefully there  will be enough  squares to make a small throw .

Debs, a perfect way to spend an afternoon. Hazel, being a busy bee again. I bet you enjoyed your shepherd's pie. Good to see you back Chive, I used to find getting back into the school routine after a holiday a bit of a pain but in these odd times it must be worse. Its my left knee thats giving me all the aggro Chive but I'll just grin and bear it and go a little more gently for a few days. I kept thinking 'I'll just do this bit......' and overdid it. Self inflicted so my own fault. I saw that horrid weather forecast for next week too. Ho hum! Going to say goodnight to you all now. See you tomorrow. Fingers crossed for a good night's sleep!

    Good evening to all.
Just come to say hello. After long and hard week something wonderful happened this evening. I'm so happy and must share this with you.
A month ago one of my cats just disappeared and I looked everywhere and didn't find him. This evening I just glance a facebook and saw his photo. One lady find him and kept in her house until somebody recognizes him. I immediately contacted her and my cat is home again.

Sock (this is his name) is home again and now sleeps on his spot.
