    Morning all.
Seems a bit breezy out there. I was hoping for a nice warm day.

Morning folks, sorry to hear you've got bad toothache 'WonkyWomble, can you get in to see your dentist, I believe they are all open for business.
I hope we don't get snow Dove, it's not unknown down here, I remember it snowing hard on my daughter's birthday at the end of April once, when she was a child.

OH had to stay at home with a grumbling knee, so I enjoyed the walk to get the paper. The local woodland that was bought up by a developer we think, now has some baby piglets in it, pink fronts and black rears, I expect Dove will know the breed. Very cute looking but already there's an 'aroma' as you walk past, I dread to think what it will smell like in hot weather. He's absolutely trashed the woodland, cut down loads of trees, put up a double layer of fences and big 'Keep Out' signs and left loads of rubbish lying around, bits of barbed wire, big plastic ties, old buckets etc. but at least the giant digger has gone. Such a shame, it was a lovely peaceful spot before with a small stream running along the boundary which local children used to sneak in to play.

Could be a British Saddleback @Lizzie27.

The tiles I had ordered are no longer available, manufacturers in Spain are in trouble because of Covid, poor things. I've been to the tile shop and have chosen some others. Then I did the weekly shop in Leclerc.

    Wot I said @Dovefromabove!
You are lucky to have been vaccinated @D0rdogne_Damsel. Macron said last night that vaccinations for people my age will be from 16th April, but I went to the pharmacie to arrange an appointment and they said Macron was in a dream world. There aren't enough vaccines or staff and they would probably call me mid May.

Have you managed to register with a GP yet @Busy-Lizzie? They are also doing the vaccinations. I had mine done at the doctors last week.

Afternoon all, just been out to put the fleece over the raised bed and it's freezing.  What a difference to yesterday.  No gardening today.  Had a GP appt this morning over the phone and now I'm off to pick the boys up from school and nursery.  They are going to visit their other grandparents in the lake district tomorrow as their dad is in a bubble with his parents since separating from Secondborn.  They usually come down here and stay for a few days every other week as he has no local family.  I know Secondborn is going to miss them dreadfully.

    Good afternoon to every gardener!

1st April:  au mois d'avril, ne te découvre pas un fil (In the month of April, do not take off a thread!)  Yes, fine warm days with a cool breeze but pleasant for digging and weeding.  Like yourselves, we are in for some cooler weather at Easter.

@Busy-Lizzie  @D0rdogne_Damsel I also, was up and out this morning to Leclerc.  It was busy with people buying up large for Easter and the imminent lockdown.   I do have a Lidl, an Aldi and a Carrefour within the 10km allowed radius.  The problem has become apparent that the English strain is on the rampage here in France and is particularly infectious.  Stay safe @floralies  until you can find somewhere/one to vaccinate you.

Have a pleasant remainder of the day one and all.
