Happy to report Charlie bounded down the stairs at 6:30am, ate a huge breakfast and is now raring to get on his bike and go to his pals house to do trail riding in the woods - oh to be young.
I was happy, and relieved to see the verdict went the right way too. Hopefully the start of change in the way police officers think.
The new floor of the Tearoom is going down today, so I am off to give the old one a really good scrub and clear the room.

Planted out some tomato and pepper plants yesterday morning - I know, a bit early and still cool nights, but things were getting crowded - have back up. Had 2nd jab yesterday , sore arm but otherwise fine.
The nice weather forecast lady told us we would have rain today - still waiting.

No frost last night - hallelujah 🎉. Going to get out there and do some mulching (Mr C’s back is feeling better now) and start my annual assault on the nettles invading my borders. There will still be plenty left elsewhere in the garden for caterpillars 🐛
Just a thought ... now that Chauvin has been convicted of murder ... what happens about all the other police who stood by and watched him commit murder and did nothing to protect George Floyd?

The wall to wall sunshine continues. A bit breezy though, so it will be a while before it warms up I reckon.
