The thing is @B3 that once upon a time I had feet I could squeeze into chisel-toeΒ  slingbacks with 3" heels and wear them to work all day, walk a mile to the bus stop, travel 12 miles home on the bus and then still have feet happy enough to go out in the evening.Β  What happened to those feet ... where have they gone?Β  :'(
I think they went because you squeezed into ...........πŸ‘

Nah @k67 they were fine whilst encased in expensive soft leather ... I think what happened was that I then became a Hippy Chick and wandered far and wide over meadows and marshes, barefoot and carefree.  😎. (Does anyone else here remember the Albion Fairs, the Barsham Fairs and Rougham Tree Faires?)

My feet discovered freedom Β in 1972 and thence-forward refused to be confined or constrained in any way, even at the cost of acquiring the aforementioned bunion, and bent toe, plus fallen arches, chronic Achilles tendinitis and occasional plantar fasciitis.Β

I am barefoot most of the time even now ... but occasionally one needs to wear shoes ...Β

Footwear is overrated. Nekkid feet is best.
Β I'd never understood why some people have vastΒ  collections of insanely expensive shoes. Then it occurred to me. If you're overweight, what's the last bit of your body that gets too fat to squeeze into designer clothes?
And when you can't even get into the shoes, you can buy ridiculously expensive designer handbags.

I agree,Β  I know it's significant but all main channels showing the same thing over & over, all evening.Β

I have wide feet, narrow heels, thickish ankles and very high insteps ... Now I'm hatching a claw toe
This seems normal for a dove.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I agree too.Β  I don't understand why BBC had the same programming on BBC1 and BBC2 and also cancelled all programming on BBC4.Β  When the Queen goes it will be more understandable.
