I enjoyed Sue Kent's piece as well. I don't know if it was the fact that the programme was on earlier, but l found myself paying more attention than if it started at 9pm. Probably because l am so old and decrepit , but l prefer an earlier start time.
I always record it, but l like to watch it "live" if l can. I know it sounds daft, but l always feel it's like the start of the weekend. Watching it on a Saturday afternoon for instance just doesn't feel right 😊.
8pm here last night and dinner time so I only caught snippets while I was finishing the cooking. Will have to catch up later.
Saw a bit of Sue Kent's piece and enjoyed it but do have to wonder about the production team thinking behind enlisting a new presenter who has never met a ligularia. She's inspirational in many ways but we need more plant and design based knowledge in the presenters, not less.
