The fireman just seemed so happy in his space - you had to smile. I liked the change of Carol and Nick presenting. They are both cheery people too - just generally a cheerful hour and there's plenty of need for that

Missed the first half but drooling at the Devon garden Carol presented.  Adored the white garden lady - she takes such delight in her garden; what a sweetie.

    8pm this evening.

"Monty welcomes a special guest, the Duchess of Cornwall, to Longmeadow, where she shares her love of gardening.

Also in this programme, Monty carries out some seasonal maintenance on the mound, demonstrates how to plant a fragrant lavender hedge and catches up on the progress of his aubergines and chillies in the greenhouse.

Nick Bailey visits Knoll Gardens in Hampshire and gives his tips on the tall perennials which give a burst of colour in borders towards the end of the season, when other flowers have started to fade. JJ Chalmers heads to the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and discovers the vital role it plays in the local community. And we get plenty of inspiration and tips from our viewers' own gardens."

I only saw some of the bit about the water garden so I was left wondering how the postman gets to the front door. Is there a path around the side or does he have to use the stepping stones?
    In London. Keen but lazy.
