    8pm tonight.

" Monty is at Longmeadow, keeping on top of seasonal maintenance as well as enjoying the plants of high summer.

Adam Frost travels to Sissinghurst Castle Gardens to view a new area of the garden which was inspired by a visit to the Greek island of Delos, and in Berkshire we find out how one enthusiast keeps her garden full of interest in every season of the year.

In West Sussex, we get tips on producing the perfect dahlia from a grower with over 50 years of experience, and we travel to Kent where we meet a gardener with a passion for colourful containers. We also get plenty of inspiration and tips from our viewers' gardens. "

  • Last weeks was the best of the year IMO.
This weeks - well we'll see but Sissinghurst..again. Yawn. Dahlias..yawn.
  • Hope they have replaced some of the dead pencil cypresses at "delos", looked terrible last summer, but more recent photos show an improvement. Sissinghurst is so difficult to enjoy when busy.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Delos garden - seen lots of stills on Instagram but some moving images might give a better sense of the space.

    I enjoyed tonight's programme (l love dahlias 😊).
My OH commented that Monty seemed very upbeat and had more enthusiasm in the last couple of weeks.
Maybe it's the fact he was looking forward to his week off.
I thought the Delos garden was very well executed, quite a project.
  • I loved the garden where the lady planted just about anything she liked the look of.

I enjoyed tonight’s episode apart from the dahlia segment we’d seen before.

Sissinghurst was new to my eyes and that lady in Maidenhead gave me lots of inspiration.

Monty definitely seemed more upbeat than I’ve known him to be in a long time.

Carol and Nick next week which will be a refreshing change from Adam being second in command.
