Same here @Obelixx, with the cold winds.  Not long back from Allotment,  don't know about jumpers and jackets,  even the Irish guys who are usually in short sleeves,  had jackets , hat and gloves on . Last week I was taking layers off,  they were all back on today.

I'm glad it wasn't just me feeling it, my fingers were numb within half an hour of going out this evening.
I’ve no idea what I’m doing.

    I'm Mr Smug again.
The grass has been cut down to Summer length. Not collected, but at least it's short now

Just come in (isn’t it lovely to be saying that at 6pm 😀😀😀).  Very productive day weeding, clearing and barrowing gravel.  Shattered now.  Like others, very cold - hat and scarf back on, and a couple of frosty nights forecast.

Glad to hear you are finding one handed things to do @Hostafan1 👍🏻

    Evening everyone.

I have 5 days off now! Shame it won’t be a gardening extravaganza (cold with some rain) but I can still do seeds and some serious pottering.

My garden and I live in South Wales.

My grass hasn't grown enough to warrant cutting it yet.

I hope the builder does your shed/greenhouse as soon as possible @rholden_82 then you will have somewhere to put your seedlings. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Lawn needs cutting for the 3rd time but I want to finish planting the shrubs first. Today I planted 3 Viburnum Tinus along the fence by the road, thick clay and stones. Also a big boulder, I could hardly lift it. I replaced the soil with soil from the veg garden.

Couldn't do as much as I thought because I was waiting for the TV satellite man and he was 1 1/2 hours late then daughter 1 and a friend rang. It was nippy outside, but I wore an anorak.

    Morning all,

Hope it stays fine on my day off - got a few jobs to do.

The bike shed that we built last week needs finishing off (painting-wise). Unfortunately, it couldn't go where planned as the doors open too wide (Shouting, "If the doors are wider than 2 and a half feet, it won't fit" whilst the OH is on the phone didn't seem to work :( . Anyway, the doors are 2ft 7inches wide!).

That now means that one of my two veg beds is in almost complete shade :o which alters my plans for it quite drastically. I've got some rhubarb that I'll shift there and, maybe, one of the blackcurrant bushes on order can go in there when they arrive.

Good morning.  Second cuppa and third piece of toast - sky a mixture of low cloud and some blue.  May get some sun today.  Weeding nettles is on the agenda.
Have a great gardening day everyone!
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

    Morning all.

Coffee ground, infused and filtered and all settled in to watch episode 3 of Carol Klein only to find there isn't an episode 3 🙈
I’ve no idea what I’m doing.
